Hey everyone

Shopped around last weekend for a 2018 lead foot gray Raptor and almost picked one up but it didn't have the tailgate step. Now I'm #1 on the list for a 2019 build but lead foot gray is discontinued. Sucks but oh well. Read all of the posts in this thread and seems the dang order bank date keeps shifting depending on who's posting! LOL!

My contribution FWIW:

Recaros heated and cooled? Looking at Ford's official 2019 video and pics the center stack shows heat and cooled seat buttons. Could be pre-production pic but the seats do show perforations as well.

Recaro comfort? I have a 2018 GT350 and there's no way they would use the same seats in the Raptor.... no need and in fact they didn't. The seat design is completely different. The seat has a flat bottom with heavy bolstering on the side only. Should be no issues with fit if you're a little thick. On the fence about getting them because I doubt I'll need the side bolsters in a truck.

Blue, blue or blue? Why so many blues? Haven't seen any actual images posted so here's Velocity Blue. Seems it's a regular color not limited to GT350s or Raptors.

The big unknown is Ford Performance Blue a.k.a. Liquid Blue. This was the launch color for the Ford Performance Series and the Ford GT. There's a press photo Ford released of all the Ford Performance cars in a group pic and all of them were custom painted Liquid Blue. Those cars were created as display vehicles for the North American auto show circuit. The Focus ST, Raptor and GT350 were meant to be show cars only and only the Focus ST was available for purchase... read below. Performance blue was only available on the production Ford GT. Ford said they would not make it available but here it is so this is probably my first choice since Lead Foot is gone.

Here is a press photo of the cars painted Performance Blue a.k.a. Liquid Blue for the North American auto show circuit. Yes, the color looks different from the Performance Blue Focus ST posted below but the color is a chameleon. If you look up Performance Blue Ford GTs you will see the same color swings shown in the Focus ST pics. All depends on lighting.

Performance Blue vs Velocity Blue:

The back story to this Focus is that it's the ONLY Performance Blue focus ever made and 1 of 1 painted this color for the North American auto show circuit. The other cars were probably destroyed but the 1 of 1 Performance Blue Focus was actually sold to someone when it was picked up by a dealership through an auction. Here is the story if you want to read it.

Ford describes it as a layered paint and it seems to have huge color swings depending on light and angle. Definitely has a lot of depth to it. My guess is it will be an optional color.

These are all pics of the SAME Focus ST in Performance Blue

Here are some photos of the 1 of 1 Performance Blue GT350R. This is clearly a pre-production car because it doesn't have the red badges front and rear, red calipers and red stitching inside. It also has matte stripes with white trim which is unavailable from Ford. The GT350 comes with gloss black stripes with white trim and the GT350R comes with matte black stripes and red trim. Again the photos show the degree of color shift of Performance Blue.

Net net, Performance Blue has a lot of different personalities. Sometimes very blue like lightning blue other times has a slight greenish tinge to it but as good as it looks in the shade it absolutely pops in direct sunlight!

Hope this helps someone when the order banks open.
