You are probably right. I think it was just wishful thinking on my part, trying to use logic to get the truck shipped. Just a little impatient. That's just typical inventory though. True, the Raptors are largely customer orders, but the rest of the F150s sitting are a blend. And as others have noted, this is the byproduct of a new model year.
If assembly was completely shuttered, Ford would notice. But as long as trucks roll off, their bottom line is met.
Ultimately, every truck that's being built will be purchased and the final purchase price will be unaffected by the ok to buy taking longer than usual (it seems).
And to be honest, no.... I don't think Ford cares about $8,000/day. That's much cheaper than a large scale recall.
Reading through old posts, Ramp 59 was bad news for the 2017s. Good thing it is two model years later! What does your Ford tracker say? Mine still says in production. I may try to call my dealer later. It's Monday. Anyone's truck really shipped yet?
update .. just asked my dealer and was told my truck has been released and awaiting shipment on Ramp #59.
My tracker didn’t update but they say 11/19-11/25 delivery. So I’m waiting with a big smile on my face just hoping it comes closer to the 19th lolThanks. My Ford Tracker just moved to awaiting shipment. Still showing delivery by the 18th.
