I own a LEXUS LS460 as a daily and the Raptor is my fun vehicle. But since I bought the Raptor it has quickly become my daily. I only drive the LEXUS when I’m going to areas with low parking garages. The Raptor is incredible in every way. 20k miles in 11 months.

I daily drive mine every other week or so...great commuter (well, except for the fuel mileage), if not as easy to park as my old commuter car.

Ride’s not as comfortable as my wife’s Grand Cherokee, but much more comfortable than my old pickup or my son’s moderately lifted (2” suspension lift plus 35’s on 20” wheels) Jeep Wrangler. And of course a different beast altogether from the track toys.

I notice some rear wheel hop over rough pavement, but overall the suspension is what I would describe as plush... but then again I daily drove a first generation Miata with all heim joints and delrin bushings for over a year too! Of course that was when I was a lot younger and had a back and knees that still worked! LOL

Bottom line: It makes a great daily driver...

We have a Mercedes GLS as the other car and the 2018 raptor has quickly become the go to vehicle for trips. Most space and comfortable. Use it for school drop offs too and it's the most fun car/truck to drive through narrow city streets, traffic and on the highway. Plus it's great for some wilderness camping trips.

It's only downside as a daily is the height for public parking garages as most around here are of the 6'6 variety.

I daily drive, drop the kid off at school, and work out of my truck. I have owned them all over the last several years, I have a short attention span, but do require a truck for work. This is the only one that I would consider fun to drive and has the best ride to boot. I can't think of anything else I would want to drive that has the functionality I need (basically a truck bed).

I recently drove my biz partner's loaner '18 F150 CC 2wd w/ 20" rims, it felt like riding in an actual tank compared to the raptor, in that you can feel every single pebble or imperfection in the road. We checked the tire pressure on the loaner, all at 34 psi. He said the loaner rode great compared to his '13 King Ranch, I am just spoiled by the Raptor.

Raptor probably cheaper than a platinum Expedition anyway. When you test drive the Raptor, make sure the tire pressure is below 40, they ship them with pressure all over the place, sometimes high 40's. You will not be impressed if tires are overinflated.

I had a 16 Expedition Platinum, then traded for a 17 Explorer Platinum. Now the 18 Raptor SCAB. They are all nice in their own way, but the Raptor is the most fun to drive of the 3.
