GEN 2 2019 a/c leak

My 2019 Raptor has an a/c leak. It only has 3300 miles. Has anyone else had a problem with their a/c?

How did you determine it has a leak? Dealer diagnosis?

Dealer diagnosed it. They recharged it. Made an appointment for May 11 to determine where it is leaking. I hope it isn’t the evaporator core.

Evap core would be least likely. Typically it's a fitting/o-ring that didn't seal properly during assembly.

I hope you are right. The a/c worked fine last summer. The tech said it is supposed to have 1.94 lbs of refrigerant and it had less than 1.

My kids 17 mustang had the A/C go out 2 times right away. That what a warranty is for.

I had a brand new '15 Mustang on which the condensor went out. Seems to be the "cam phasers" of those cars. Part of my reason to get out before warranty. I didn't want to dish out $1,300 and have to rip out half the interior.

Yep. They replaced it twice.

Update. Tech at the dealer checked my a/c for leaks and could not find any. Told me to come back in a couple weeks and they will check it again.
