Delivered with 54 and i was disappoited in the ride as i thought its just harsh. Lowered to 37 and is much better now. I will try lowering the backs to 35-34 and see.

I believe the 38 recommendation is for better MPG results.

Bringing this back. Im getting ready for a trip and checked my tire pressure. These bf goodrich stock tires were over 60psi! No wonder the ride hasn't been as smooth as others. Tire sidewall says 65 when cold but haven't checked the door jam. I lowered them down to about 45. Would this be ok? This is on a 1 gen screw with 315 70 17

I found 42/38 to be the best compromise of ride and mpg. Mpg drops fast you go much lower like 38/34

My stock BFG says max pressure 45psi. I run 38 and like it. Discount tire did a rotation and aired them to 50 because that’s what their computer said, I got in the truck looked and the pressure and pulled right back up and told them to fix it.

Mine were similarly at 45 or so when I bought the truck from the dealer. Ride was much better after I dropped them to 37.

Mine were all at 51-52 when I picked my 2018 up from the dealer, lowered them down to 38 and ride is much better. Don’t think I’ll go any lower unless I am in Snoball, Silver Lake sand dunes, or similar.

I have mine set up to 44, I'll try 38 and see how it feels. Is there any difference in cabin noise for those running at 38?

Dealers have been setting them like they would for a regular F-150. My friend pointed that out to the dealer and they agreed that they have been making a mistake. The Raptor tires are totally different then the F-150 tires. Lower load range and therefor lower tire pressures. Do not exceed the tire pressure stamped on the tire and run them at high speed.
