Based on the press release, a torsen front will be an option in 2017.

"An available Torsen front differential increases off-road capability further. The system increases grip significantly for the front end of the truck and allows it to pull itself over obstacles and up steep grades – even when traction is split between the front tires."

I don't see a roost from both front wheels...does this mean no torsen in the front?

Fair enough. Available and tires. Thanks!

I got a feeling that the new truck could be an option *****. Get all this cool stuff and only spend $65K. Base price only $49k......

Yeah I worry that too. I'm sure they saw that most raptors, especially '13, '14 were loaded or almost loaded, so they're going to try to capture that money again.

Or even worse, a package *****.

"You want heated seats? You need option group 504A technology premium luxury package for $5,995."

Some stuff is easy to pass up to keep price down, but if it's all packaged together it's going to be super expensive and the base price will pretty much just be a joke.

True. But, in 2013-2014, you didn't really have an option. You either had 800A (base model) or 801A (loaded). I believe most folks think that when you're already spending $50K what's $4500 to have all the bells and whistles, especially when you know that you'll get it all back on the back end in resale. At least I did. I think the all or nothing approach works. It makes it easier to move trucks on the lot and I'm sure it speeds up build time. I just hope they don't take the Porsche approach to options: "Oh, you want power seats? That'll be $8,000."

Yeah it all depends on what is offered and how it's packaged. $4k or $5k over base price to have a loaded truck is a no-brainer.

Porsche is the worst. Their base MSRP is for a stripped shell of a car and you have to fill it up with expensive options to make it reasonably road worthy. However, on the other hand, if you intentionally want a stripped car they charge you double and call it a GT3 RS.
