That tailgate is ******** hideous! So tacky!

LMAO!!!

I like the look of the tailgate! :)

It differs it from a normal F150 - This truck is all about clad of some sort. - Make it to where it won't fade and i'd be good. I wouldn't get that option for fear it would fade like the sides of the Avalance have over the years...

Oh and my current fender flairs are fading as well. They need to fix that part first.

Not participating any more. Stop dragging me into your thread drama.....

Im not dragging anyone into anything, just making an observation. I havent participated in anything here for awhile since Ive said my opinion and dont feel like saying the same thing over and over.

At this point there is nothing more to really talk about until Ford releases hard specs and some actual people get behind the wheel.

Until then its just people saying the 2014 is better and people saying the 2017 is better and at the end of the day no one actually knows anything.

I guess since you don't like the new truck so much, then I'm assuming you won't be selling parts for it @2014RubyRed ? Just wondering since your a vendor for raptor parts and all.... :ROFLJest: hahaha just messing with ya bud!

Personally I feel the new truck will be a breath of fresh air. Yes, its a different "flavor" than the gen1, but it doesn't make it a bad thing (yes there's some visual aesthetis I could do without as well) Besides, that's what the aftermarket is all about, making these trucks into what they really should be, and more.

Anymore the current gen1 aftermarket is starting to plateau, ideas for new products are running thin, and there's no real major game changing stuff, just improvements on parts already out. New gen2 will bring fresh ideas that will trickle back down to gen1 and vise versa. LED retrofits anyone? Haha! Gen2 to gen1 3.0 shock swap? I'm excited to keep moving forward. Besides, getting a gen2 will give me an excuse to retire the gen1 from DD duty and cage/link it.

Now everybody stop whining and start ordering gen2s!! Haha

It's the only way we can move forward.

Thank you for being a vendor that actually gets it. Being positive and looking into the future is what everyone needs for innovation. It also makes perspective buyers more willing to purchase from you since you are not being negative.

Haha not what I was trying to do here, or paint anyone else in a bad light, but I appreciate the support. I was just giving 2014rubyred a hard time being hes a local buddy of mine. But I do agree that you have to be positive for the future, otherwise we would never even have the raptors we have now.

Somebody mentioned the hideous seats. Ford did the same thing with the GT350 seats on the show car as well as the liquid blue paint. Raptor production seats aren't going to have the white detail. The Raptor show truck also shows buttons for cooled seats, but the show truck seats don't have perforations to accommodate that function. I'm willing to bet they'll be heated only. Bottom pic is of the actual Recaros installed in the production GT350:

Could someone please explain the logic behind only wanting to have positive comments about the new truck? What good does that do? First of all, do you think Ford doesn't read these forums? Maybe they'll fix some of the things people don't like before production. They can't do that if they don't know what people are thinking. Second, when people point out the things they don't like, that tells the aftermarket where to make improvements.

Sometimes this forum and the new Raptor are like MSNBC and Obama. I have no use for blind cheerleaders. Or crybabies.
