What I was told the 14's will probably start late because of the new tooling going on soon. I was lead to believe the last week of November or the first week of December before it will get here...

According to this production start up for 2014's is October 28th.

^ I wonder what the new tooling will be for. On paper the year over year changes seem minimal to nothing.

I'm thinking about placing an order for a '14 and I'm being told to expect it in 4-6 months, does this sound about right? I realize build of '14s is to start in 4-6 weeks so I'm just trying to find out what to really expect here.

My dealer keeps telling me Ford is not accepting orders yet. He said dealers will take the order but cant actually submit it to Ford yet. I have no reason not to believe him as he seems legit and came recommended by two FRF members who bought from him. Anybody else know anything about this!?! Didnt want to keep bugging him so thought I would ask here.

I'm pretty sure 2014 orders can in fact be submitted. Anyone have a DORA to prove it?

Your dealer may not have got an October order allocation for 2014 Raptors. Some haven't from what I've heard. I do know that my order has been placed but then again, my dealer got a few allocated for October. Some months they get zero. It all depends on Ford.
