All,
It may be temporary, but I’m departing from Raptor ownership for the first time in five years. In full disclosure, I decided to try out a Ram TRX and placed a factory order on one (which includes some pretty steep discounts) several months ago. Otherwise, I was planning on running this forever. It has been and is a great truck. This is a serialized Roush Stage II with 150k miles. Reliable 600hp daily driver. I average near 15mpg with a 85/15 highway to city split.
The good:
- Engine (Amsoil), transmission (recent drain and refill) and drivetrain (front and rear diff fluids changed) are in great shape
- interior is in really good shape and has the 801A package. Very low wear on drivers front and little to no perceived wear in passenger front and rear seats. Leather is in really good condition.
- New/serviced Fox Racing 2.5 shocks by Shox by Hammer with 250 psi fill and added schrader valve
-VMP tune for 72mm pulley (runs 1psi more than the 75mm) and most important, it smoothed the transmission shifting from the really harsh 2-3 gear shift from Roush. It makes roughly 600hp which is just above the factory Roush but with lots of margin of safety built into the tune.
- frame and underbody are in great shape. Fluid film and wool wax multiple times a year
- paint condition is very good overall with
Rigid Industries 20” E-series and spot/flood Side Shooters in the fog pod area. I also have a 30” E-series that I uninstalled about eight months ago but works perfectly.
-Method wheels with BFG KO2 with 70% tread remaining.
Items to point out:
- edge of drivers side front bumper has a bend it it (co-worker cut a corner in the parking lot too sharp and caught into the edge of the bumper)
-drivers side rear door has two spots of rust, one roughly the size of a nickel in length and another smaller
-tailgate has a scratch on it with a slight dent (my mistake, I backed into our mailbox when trying to multitask)
$32.9k price. Located in Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
