So after selling my 13 screw, bouncing between 2 MB AMG cars landing in a jeep JKU, I miss my darn truck....I found a 2011 locally has a tick over 100K on it, i know these things run forever if ya take care of them...I guess my question is 2011 a good year? or find 12-14?

Depends on what you want it for and if you can live without some of the advancements that the 12-14 have. Of course the 12-14's will hit the pocketbook more. Other than the advance tech that 12-14's have they have a thicker frame if you plan on doing a lot of off-road jumping and banging around.

I am one of those I guess old school people that still rock an MP3 player so tech does not matter to much. I do drive like an A-Hole out in the desert but not insane jumps or hold my beer watch this moments....Oh and btw p-47 is one of my fav war birds!

12 and up had the reinforced frame and torsen front diff. 13-14 also have the sync 2 which is upgradeable to sync 3 if you so choose.

you know, still being a smart ass here.

as far as the 13, its not out of reason for that truck. i notice the bumpers have been replaced. check for skid plate damage and how much of it there is, also scratches on frame. looks to be a frame cut bumper so might have been offroaded a decent amount. the usual check things of course. cab to bed gap, rust underneath, etc
