Hey Quicksand I hear what you are saying about more info but I am telling the truth - this truck EXCEEDS all expectations. It hauls my boat like a DREAM - technology is incredible - suspension is remarkable - tightest driving truck I have EVER driven. The great thing about this Forum is I was alerted to all the "little" shortcomings (ie - headlight bulbs, etc) so I havent really been surpirsed with anything new. If Ford is hitting the things lile Torsen front differential and Fox Racing suspension, I can deal with headlight bulbs and floor mats - lol.

I am serious when I say I have NO COMPLAINTS - SURE Ford could have done some things a little different but in my humble opinion they have NAILED this Truck - or you can just say this truck is NAILS. I think we, in the Forum, are all cut out of the same mold and are pretty fanatical about our trucks. Honestly after 500 miles I could NOT be ANY more pleased.

Excellent follow up review Bama dude. Haha. I agree the forum has helped me understand the truck before I take delivery so I shouldnt be shocked. The main reason for me wanting this truck is how tough it is and I could go anywhere at anytime. As long as it meets those requirements....it can have a damn 8 track player with candle sticks lighting the way and Ill still heart it. Only 4-5 more days till I get to be one of us!! :peace:

The stock headlights are okay but I've finally decided to upgrade to HID's. Just ordered two kits, one for the Raptor and one for the H2 (been meaning to do this for a while).

I will be seeking HID web links from yall on here once I can dial in how bad I need new headlights + factor price. I will at least give the lights a chance before swapping. I imagine a real HID set for Raptor is around 1K give or take $200. :(

Just my 2 cents but I'm not sure why everyone hates the lights, they do just fine driving around town. They aren't any better or worse than my 04.
I agree with everything stutide has said. This is the best truck I have ever owned. After owning a first generation of this body style and now the current one it's day and night different. Ford really did their homework improving the truck. The fit and finish are great and the drivability has improved so much it is amazing. The six speed tranny that allows engine braking, no sloppy shifts , no throttle lag and let's not forget about the ***** ape under the hood. I've had my truck 9 days and have 800 miles on her and loving it.
