I agree with you Stutide, this truck is addictive. IMO its only (minor) shortcoming is the headlights, but I'm having Ducati fix those for me. I'm actually thinking about getting a 2013. Whenever the music stops and Ford discontinues the Raptor, I want one of the last model year they make.

Gonna seem like 3 years but once you get it all this waiting stuff will end QUICKLY! Its EXCEEDED ALL expectations I had! Congrats but I am warning ya - the wait is a killer. I waited 5 months.

Are you planning on doing perch adjustment?

yeah I agree about the headlights. THey're pretty pathetic. Not even reasonable, my '85 F-150 has better headlights lol. You figure 27 years later they'd have some improvement even staying halogen. NOPE lol.

I think I'm going to leave the perch setting alone for now as well. Originally I thought I'd end up fiddling with it soon after getting the truck, but the stance is pretty good to me, and the ride is perfect. I'll see how the rear squats with a trailer this spring towing my race truck, but I think I may leave the perch alone.

Thanks for the review. Simple but more would have been nice. I believe the only thing I will be let down on in advance of delivery is the headlights. And maybe not being able to see the tire pressure per wheel but I can fix that easy aftermarket.

I dont mind the bad headlights bc it gives me an excuse to do the only mod (one of very few) and that is lights from rigid bars to basic fogs. However, All of that cost money and I will have to wait.

Ive been trying to fend off my dislike for driving at night which only started in the last year. I think it had something to do with a 23 hour straight drive to CO from CA last Feb almost to the day to be exact. IT took a tole on me/long story/thru blizzard/couldnt stop etc. I think it was bc I was in a Dodge Ram Laramie. haha. Nice on the inside but poop on the outside. It was a loaner for the trip btw.

Just last night I drove my Dad's Road-Trek van back to where I live in CA, raining, dark, new vehicle not use to and bad headlights.......and it sucked ass!!

I officially take delivery on Friday the 17th dudes. Almost finally time. Im getting more stoked daily. But Im also going into the Rocky Mountains, snowing all this week yet again like last year, bad headlights and Ill be driving solo at night to my cabin off paved roads. Both myself and the new ride will truely be tested from front camera to front torsen on the very first day.

I look forward to giving a full review both of my dealership visit + new truck and apologize in advance for the lengrh as I will probably be drunk when I write it next Friday night or Saturday.

PS-a new model every year would be sick if in each color!

with how these trucks are holding their value pretty well, I've debated on not getting the extended warranty, and just trading up in 3 years when it runs out, with the latest & greatest Ford has at the time. But without knowing what the future holds for the Raptor, not sure if I'll plan on that lol.
