The new one piece, full circle style seals ( I say new, but have been around since the late 80's) rarely leak. When they do, it is usually an installation problem where the seal lip is "rolled" during installation. I wouldn't be too concerned about reoccurance when your dealers Master tech installs it correctly.(And I know he will)

Hey, that torque converter looks really familiar!
He said it was kind of a pain to get out. The skid plates, cats, O2 sensor wires etc were all 'in the way'. He said a SD tranny was much easier to remove. I think he said it was close to 2 hrs.
