I use mine to charge my Dewalt Radio with an 18 volt XRP battery, which I use at work.

FYI, don't leave anything plugged in with kids in the backseat. I'll be damned if that plug doesn't get knocked out EVERY time. I thought about using epoxy to prevent this but, I figure the way it is now, I can simply snap it back togather. If it's glued, and gets knocked out, who knows.

Well...maybe there's something wrong with mine then. It wouldn't even run a plug 110v garage light. The green light just blinks...truck running or not.

Ok, so what is this thing actually good for?!....If i want to charge a damn cell phone I'll use the 12v. NOTHING i have tried to date actually works off this stupid outlet.

Make a list of crap that you have actually used it for....GO.

cell phone when that was the only charger i had
laptop
12v cooler
18v makita charger

never tried anything that needed alot of juice...

Will not power my portable small air compressor! Pulls too many amps.

It powers the small pancake compressor I have.

I've used the plug for my laptop, power for blowing up my airbed, running a projector in the middle of nowhere when the generator took a shit, charging my cordless impact, etc.
