Yeah, I actually have this same problem. I plug something into it, and the plug just falls right off. I have to hold the cord at an angle to get it to make good contact.

I will take mine apart, and see if its simply as easy as bending the contacts out a little, and I bet it is.

It is. I've done it before. I believe CAbimmer made the write up for that

What I did when I bought the truck was left my shit plugged in even though I wasn't using it. Don't do that... It'll make the contacts loose

What kind of wattage can the oem system handle? My wife's explorer kept tripping out on a coffee pot, lol.
