The Raptor's Speed limit is 99 mph
The Ford Racing Tune for the Whipple is set to 110 mph
The Raptor's stock tires are rated to 112 mph
(if mounted on a 9.5" width rim)(106 mph if mounted on a 8.5" width rim)http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire...ll-terrain-t-a-ko/tire-details#techspec_table
BF Goodrich has change their info since last I checked over a year ago. There used to be Standard and Raptor versions.
Now there is Ford and GM.

Driveshaft becomes unstable after 110 mph when off roading.

These are known facts: That I have gathered researching for Supercharging.

It's not a Lighting! But a Lighting could ever do what we can either!

OK, so I have to get a tune to push it past 100. I just want to take the truck to the next level and see what it can do. Im going to get it up to speed and back off and see what she can do! :peace:

Has anyone run a stock Raptor (w/o) the speed limiter to its top speed? I've heard it's 130 something, but that could just be gossip.

CAI, exhaust, tune I've def hit 120mph and I think I hit over 130 MPH. I let off the gas and saw the speedo dropping from damn near 130 mph

I tell you my story I was the first stock Raptor to get the Ford Racing Tune and the first flash of my PCM the speed limit was not set.
I have the 2010 so I was hitting the reset button coming out of the speedo at the bottom of the guage.
I was hitting that and kept on going to a point were I had no steering I'm guessing around 140 to 145
I only did that once!!! trust me it's not a good feeling. After that I only did around 130 to 135 couple of more times.
After finding out about how the front yoke of the driveshaft and rear trans seal and bearing self destruct at ??? Ford Racing won't tell me the exact number.
And the driveshaft will break and fly out on you with hard off roading over 110 according to Ford.

I won't go past 110 any more, at least until there are upgrades or someone figues out how to make it safe to go faster for long periods of time.
