Heat... maybe. The difference will be so little that it won't affect anything IMO. Off road is worse because you are running over many bumps - tree branches, rocks, dirt mounds, etc. which causes more pressure on the tires

I believe.
I believe that you go 230 kph (142 mph) in your Raptor.
I believe that your tires won't tolerate that for long.
I belive that a blowout at that speed would be catastrophic.
I belive that unless you apply mature judgment you are going to die.

I got the 5 star tune, intake and borla cat back exhaust on my 2010 and I've had it doing 230km according to my gps....stock tires seem to be holding up fine and I tap her out daily on way home from work 48,000km and chip has been installed since new. Only issue at that speed for me is the hood moves... Alot lol. Been looking for a set of black powder coated hood pins but yet to find any I like

God, I hope you're smart enough not to be passing cars with other people in them; especially with children in them!

You blow a tire at that speed and you're anywhere near another vehicle, they could be seriously injured or killed because of your temperary lapse of judgement.

That would be bad! You want to be wreckless, that's ok. PLEASE, PLEASE - don't be wreckless around others - that's selfish and definitely stupid.

Enjoy your rig - but don't sacrifice some child's life for that enjoyment.

I've seen 125 off road which was 116 on the gps for just a minute. I wouldn't advise that speed for any significant amount of time.

I think the tires could do over 100. Maybe 120, but I'm not sure. I've heard some guys on here claim they have done 100 while offroad. 120 on road doesn't seem as bad as 100 off road.

The stock BFGs are rated to I think like 112. But again the BIGGEST worry is the DRIVE SHAFT SPEED RATING. It too plays in the speed limiter. 100-120 might not be a big jump for tires but that is for a spinning hollow shaft.

Where does the caution on the driveshaft come from? I don't remember anything about that in the owner's manual, and I've read the whole thing. Is there a Ford tech bulletin on that or something?

100mph is all you need on road or off IMO. If you live in the desert like me, maybe 120 max. I rarely pushed my SRT Jeep over 120mph in the 5 years I owned it. Ha, ok...maybe a couple times but it was factory speed limited to 155!! I took it up to 190mph with the Supercharger + Limiter removed. Anything over 120mph is extremely dangerous.

Speed was a huge reason I switched to Raptor ie bigger, slower, stornger, safer than any car Ive owned outside of exessive body roll possibility's.

I'm not sure what my most dangerous driving experience was, maybe thunder rd iin TN with my Dad in his Viper YEARS AGO ie '94 or possibly driving a '97 S600 Benz at night with lights off via A1A in north FL @ about 165mph!! It was a full moon. Haha. Many other moments I shouldnt have made it through years ago. Im so thankful now to still be alive and getting a Raptor!!

In conclusion, if you want more speed just get something else as the Raptor is to big to handle those speeds safely nor was it designed for same. A kid driving his modded truck 120mph on a dirt road he used/drove that fast on daily (Indian tribe/land) rolled it and pretty much decapitated himself (only half body was ejected so you can imagine the damage when the truck started to roll @ 120mph) about a month ago. His friend was behind him and said his buddy that wrecked was still alive for 2 hours (somehow) before dying at the hospital!? I cant imagine the pain/suffering for the kid, his friends, and family. Not good.

Have fun but also value your life more than your truck.
