GEN 2 10" onx6 installation behind lower grill

Hmmm. I need to take the front grill off to adjust it again so I'll look more closely but I don't think it can be moved at all.

IIRC the 10" puts out more light?

I haven't been able to find specs on the 30" bar but the 10" is pretty darn bright.

Thanks for the specs Baja! Looks like I will start with the 10" since it is almost as bright and sits lower which should be better in low viz conditions.

Since I already have your pro level fog pocket lights, would you recommend anything different?

Either kit would be a great addition to your current lighting setup. You're correct about the lower light having better performance in low visibility conditions. The 30" S8 would provide more glare due to the location in relation to the headlights.

What are your guys thoughts on how this blocks the Intercooler a bit? Nothing to be worried about seeing how it only blocks half of it?

Its got puller fans behind it. If you spray foamed the grill in front of it, it'd be just fine.

Finally had a chance to look again. You MIGHT be able to get another 1/2" but it'd take some drilling and messing with the bracket. I'd be leery to try. Here's some pics of it. First is from front and next two are sides showing how the light mounts and is adjustable. By the way, now that I aimed it up a bit more, it's crazy bright. Really long throw.

Hey thanks JD for following through and letting me know.

Looks like I'll have to figure out the license plate being moved versus messing with the bracket and ******** up the light.

I do like the poat/picture from the guy that had his license plate attached directly to the top skid plate at an angle...that might suffice here in Washington... and with that setup there's no interference with the center Grill.

I got this installed today. It wasn't too bad. The bracket is pretty slick and you could put spacers in there easily if you wanted to make it flush mount and cut the grill. When the sun goes down we will see how bright this thing is!!

Onyx 6 install question and help sought.

How did you mount the light to the bracket? There is the stud built into the front of the light that goes in the forward hole in the bracket.

It looks like there is a spot on the rear of the bracket where you screw into the rear of the light to control how much tilt.

I don't have any hardware to go into those holes in the back of the light.

Is it held in place via just the two studs out each side of the front of the light?
