Multiple catalytic converter failures in multiple vehicles

I can't explain it. I assumed bad fuel but I guess I'm wrong. Point taken. Let's move on

Multiple catalytic converter failures in multiple vehicles

As I replied before, I understand that condensation is normal, but I did say "water dripping constantly", which I believe is not normal. I'm seeing more than normal and I still stand by my comment that fuel quality has dropped.

Multiple catalytic converter failures in multiple vehicles

I understand that some condensation is normal but I have been seeing more than normal this past year.

Multiple catalytic converter failures in multiple vehicles

We are getting lower quality fuel. I use ethanol free 93 and I have noticed a lot more condensation coming from tail pipes. When you leak water from your tail pipes constantly, you have shit fuel!

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

I did get the rears replaced a few weeks ago and they arrived two days after they were ordered. The dealer failed to call me to let me know that they had arrived but the point is, they shipped as soon as the dealership ordered them. I call BS on the back-orders. I feel it's a combination of...

    Oil catch can

I installed an old JLT 3.0 that I pulled off of my 2014 Fx4 5.0l. Works great! You just have to drill an extra hole on the battery box where you mount the bracket. For those waiting for a Gen3 specific, I believe most of the previous F-150 catch cans will work.

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

This! So my shocks were ordered on the 15th and they said they would call when they arrive to set up an installation apt. I waited about two weeks and called on the 29th to see if the shocks had arrived. I couldn't get through to service, so I called the parts dept. Parts said that my shock...

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

I got the rears replaced this morning under warranty. It definitely fixed the clunk. I can't hear or feel anything coming from the rear shocks. Now that the rear shocks are fixed, the front shocks seem more noticeable. It's like they got worse but it was only because the rear shocks were so bad...

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

I agree. I guess my patience has run thin dealing with incompetent dealerships. I don't want to spend the money but at the same time, I get the feeling that if I want want it fixed and fixed right, I'll have to do it myself. I have no faith in Ford dealerships.

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

The dealership that I went to said that the rear shocks are not on back-order and that they will ship them as soon as they get off their asses. That was almost two weeks ago. I guess they haven't gotten off their asses. I also still think the fronts are acting up and that they didn't even test...

New Gen3- did you purchase prepaid maintenance/wheel and tire warranty

Sorry but I don't trust them. I never purchase the extended warranty or maintenance plans. I deny everything the dealer offers! It's a money grab. Just my opinion.

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

I heard it. Even more so in the front. If the Ford techs say they can't hear the clunking in your video, they are full of shit.

SurfRaptor was right. Replacing the soleniods was a waste of time. I got the truck back this morning and the rear shocks are on order.

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

It's sad and it's not just Ford. Quality and costumer service has gone to shit in the last 3 or 4 years. The wife and I hardly eat out anymore because the service is not worth it. Food at home is much better. I can't recall anyone that I have spoken to personally, that was not upset with the...

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

I'm going down there this afternoon. I'm with you, the soleniods are most likely a waste of time. Hell, it's taken me 5 weeks to get this far with them. I finally got them to do the proper testing and confirm that the rears are bad. Now they can't deny a warranty claim. They have to fix it one...

I doubt it also. Tech's words, not mine. Just a little hope for us.

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

Got an update. So I went to the dealership to get my truck. They had the truck inside and had done the chassis ear test on each shock. They found that the rear shocks are defective so they contacted Ford to see what they wanted to do. Ford told the dealership to replace the solenoids on the...

All New COBB Intakes for Gen 3 Raptor, Tremor, and more!

It has shown gains in MPGs for myself. When I installed the CIA, I was averaging 15.1 mpg. That was about a month ago and now the average is at 16 mpg, and I didn't reset. That is on 37s as well.

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

I don't think I will get this resolved through Ford. I waited 3 weeks, which was last Thursday, for my 2nd appointment, to have a Ford Tech place chassis ears on each shock and test, as the Ford bulletin states. It's Monday and they haven't touched it yet. To busy, short staffed, BS. Anyway...

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

I don't feel it in the steering wheel. Just a vibration rattle feeling in the gas peddle and the clunking, rattle sound in the shocks

Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

I've already had a Ford Tech ride with me and he did hear the clunky rattle over small washboard bumps, so they don't think I'm crazy now. Anyway, I have an appointment on the 8th for them to place the chassis ears on and test each shock. They said they heard the rattle and that they would take...

Gen 3 Rear Coil Spring Bowing

So I did get to see the rear springs on Ford's parts diagram. It appears that the springs are designed to bow/bulge out towards the rear. They were curved exactly like the photos you posted above. So the good news is, your springs a good, the bad news, it looks like the bags your trying to...

Gen 3 Rear Coil Spring Bowing

I'll let you know. I am the 2nd owner of this truck so it's hard to tell if the previous did anything with the springs. I don't think he did but if he did, it is possible that he, or the manufacture could've clocked the spring perches in the wrong location. If the dealer refuses to correct the...
