Geoff,
Have you talked to anyone at Watson Engineering about an oil pan? They have one person that is an artist with this sort of thing. I’m not trying imply that you can do a great job as well, just sharing my thoughts.
Any details regarding the oil cooler you can share? Setrab ?
Geoff,
Any thoughts toward running a higher capacity oil pan? No one makes one that I know of but it’s interesting that no one has consider Ed making one. An 8-10 quart pan that fit in the same amount of real-estate would be cool. More oil molecules to share the workload is always nice. Anyone...
This is not a good idea. The Burger “tuner” is not a Calibration at all. The device manipulates data going into the ecu to increase power. All of the “map” settings are based on the factory calibration. If that calibration is changed, the burger could create a situation that can result in...
When you send in your ecm read file(part of the process) that specific file is used to create your calibration (so to speak). Your calibration is also saved on fords server to insure there are no issues with future over the air or other types of updates. The same goes for Whipple calibrations...
Not trying to throw shade at you. I really am trying to help you from creating a problem.
Your best bet to find out what the color of each wire do is to go to a dealer and ask if maybe the parts counter can pull up the wiring diagram for a pig tail replacement for a 2024 Raptor R. This may...
I would not install this light bar. That is the worst way to tap into a Ford light harness. Moisture will get in and cause some crazy codes and module cross talk. Imagine codes like cross traffic alert, climate control, and safety restraints lamp inop….just all kinds of random shit. I would...
You have the file saved on your PC and can also save the stock file with the HP tuner device. You can switch back to stock at any time. You can switch back to the Whipple Calibration just as easy.
Gen 2 here so not exactly an apple to apples comparison.
The Whipple standalone calibration was created for me with my existing mods (Roush Intake, Garrett intercooler). Part of the process is letting them know what mods you
May have on the truck.
Any intercooler will work btw. This is not...
There is no Mobil 1 ESP in 5W-50 Grade. There is Mobil 1 5W-50 Supercar that would be great for your Raptor R Coyote engine. This is great for any Coyote engine that requires 5W-50. Driven FR50 is great as well.
Keep in mind that the SPEC for Coyote engines has to do with low ZDDP(zinc). There...
Whipple also uploads your calibration on Fords server to insure you don’t have any difficulties I. The future as a result of any over the air or manual updates.
Each Calibration is by vin number. You have to download and send the file to FP. They then create the file for your vehicle and send it back to so that it can be written(programmed) to the specific vehicle. All calibrations are saved to Ford’s server so that any cute over the air or manual...
I’ve been watching these discussions regarding the corrosion on the 2024 live valve shocks from the cheap seats. I wonder if all of the trucks sitting around waiting on quality hold were exposed to a lot of road salt…
Anthony,
The best way to change the AC belt is to cut it off. You can then easily replace the main belt. For the new belt, you can use zip ties to install the new AC belt.
