I got the new F150LEDs brake light for my 2024 Raptor. Here’s the link to the: light bar I ordered
However their wiring schematics are either not up to date or someone at the factory decided to use all new colors for just my Raptor.
The wiring guide for the lights
I haven’t had any luck finding wire schematic online for my 2024 rear tail lights to know which wires to tie into.

Here’s a pic of wire details F150LEDs gave me and here’s a pic of what my wires look like and my sad attempt to pick the right ones.

In the end these were not the right wires to tie into and the new rear brake light bar only lit up the right turning signal portion.

For the love of all that is good in the world…Does anyone have a 2024 Raptor wiring diagram for the rear brake lights that identifies which color wires are what so I can get this light bar working?

I would not install this light bar. That is the worst way to tap into a Ford light harness. Moisture will get in and cause some crazy codes and module cross talk. Imagine codes like cross traffic alert, climate control, and safety restraints lamp inop….just all kinds of random shit. I would explore other options. Ford would also frown on this type of mod as far as warranty is concerned.

I appreciate the opinion man but this did nothing to help solve what I was actually asking.

Not trying to throw shade at you. I really am trying to help you from creating a problem.

Your best bet to find out what the color of each wire do is to go to a dealer and ask if maybe the parts counter can pull up the wiring diagram for a pig tail replacement for a 2024 Raptor R. This may call out the function for each wire by color. They may even print it for you…

Good luck!

Thank you BT, this was helpful, I do appreciate you coming back and giving me some solid advice here. I was able to connect with my local ford dealer and get the wire function. I know that might of seemed like a logical step but I’m usually used to dealerships forcing me to setup a service appointment and trying to charge to troubleshoot etc. thankfully i didn’t have to do that this time. I also took to heart your feedback and spent some extra time wrapping all my wires and connection points to protect them from future moisture damage to the best of my ability. Fingers crossed I don’t see any weird codes thrown on my screen from this light kit.

He’s trying to save you from yourself. Those quick splices damage the circuit, cause voltage drop, and induce corrosion. Taping it to or sealing it does nothing to change the fact that the wire has been cut.

You’ll end to spending $3000+ on harness replacement later in the trucks life all for a cheap aftermarket modification; it’s never worth it.

The light bar looks pretty good, but the comments about splicing are spot on. For the price, they should have provided pigtailed a connector. Piercing thru the insulation and splicing the connection is just asking for trouble, especially on a vehicle that’s supposed to live in an off road world. Dirt, moisture, hot, cold, vibrations, etc. will all work to test or compromise that connection.

I like the light bar, but wouldn’t put it on my truck for that reason.
