I get what your saying ,but at the end of the day our end goal is not have a Raptor replica down to the last nut and bolt. We do care to have the Raptor dash,electronics,etc..just doing the basic OEM suspension,fenders,grille,and hood up front,Deavers with shackles in the rear. That being said...

Truck l Truck looks great..are you running 35’s or 37’s? Was considering going +3 with my SVC C.A.S front setup…but a buddy of mine has a set of +4 he’d sale on the cheap if I’m interested. But I’m only planning on running 35’s for now. Worse case I get his +4’s and maybe get some SVC lowering...

Thanks for all of the great info! I’ve got Deavers/Carli leafs on the back of my 05 Dodge 3500 and they made a huge difference! Just trying to get the correct rear setup as I’ve got SVC C.A.S collars for the front to help fine tune the front ride height..just trying to avoid the saggy ass look...

Thanks Zeus..I also noticed it’s $673 per spring so it’s really double that.

Are the Icons as good as Deavers? The Icons at $673 are significantly cheaper than the comparable Deavers at $1600.

Would the mind trust feel that Deaver +1 still be to soft for the occasional dirt bikes in the bed or hauling a 24’ boat?

Great reply,some solid info. That being said I may end up sending them out to someone. Who in the So.Cal area is recommended? I’m I. Agua Dulce/Santa Clarita area but drive down to Manhattan Beach area regularly for work,so if there is anyone near these areas that would be ideal.

Has anyone done the rebuild themselves? I did my 2.5 Kings Dodge Carli kit…it was pretty straight forward,curious if our Gen 2 standard 3.0 can be similar to be rebuild?

I’ll have them coming soon,just trying to acquire the rest of the parts. Looking forward to knocking out the upper front coil bucket conversion. Hopefully the rest will be smooth.

Bump it up…still in need of some headlights(preferably LED) and some odds and ends parts.

Thanks and I’ll pull up a picture of each model and compare. But we are planning on getting a OEM Raptor bumper. We already have fenders and headlight trim.

But back to the grills,what’s the big difference between OEM and aftermarket?

Correct about the frame,but will be installing all Gen 2 suspension and Camburg Gen 2 coil buckets. Eventually we will find a rear axle to match the front width. Still cheaper and won’t pay the luxury tax or the higher insurance premiums. And still have the 5.0 motor.

Not sure I could get a 2017 SC with 5.0 in the Raptor platform with only $25k invested.

My son and I are gathering the parts for his 2017 F-150 to Raptor conversion and trying to find a OEM grill to use. I can find aftermarket grills all the time but OEM on the used market are rare or high dollar. Does anyone have first hand experience with aftermarket grills and worth the...
