No answer on why Stage 1 2017s and 2018s show max gains of 15% whp and 17% wheel torque while the 2019 is, according to your site and graphs, showing max gains of 29% and 29% respectively? What changed from year to year that we are not aware of? Or is it a running change to your Stage 1 tune?
Interesting that the 2019 shows so much more of a % max gain in torque according to your numbers. To what do you attribute this? I assume this is done on the same dyno and that is too big of a change to just chalk it up to "different truck, different weather".
Was just discussing this with the wife on the way to dinner last night. Kind of like the windshield banners from audio companies people used to put on their cars. You are basically asking for additional scrutiny.
Google says it is 78.5" tall. So Add your 1/2" for tires: 79". Now add 3" for the lift: 82". Now add 2" for some wiggle room so as to avoid an "oh shit" moment: 84". You will need about 84" of clearance for this to work. That is still only 7' so a typical household garage door should give...
Trying to track the wheels by the position of a center cap is a fool's errand. Most likely explanation is what 1bad454ssv2 said above, the lugs and center cap stayed in position while the wheels and tires moved around. If you want to go to the dealer playing Perry Mason, mark the tires on the...
They retain the stock housing so the gains will be modest. That 150whp gain is likely the theoretical max that the housings can flow. It's not the power gain that I have an issue with, a properly tuned truck would probably be quite fun on these but the price is a bit steep. Does nobody make a...
Oh, and don't take our word for it. Go peruse the lot at your local Ford dealer and compare them for yourself. Ford itself is telling you that you are expecting too much. Y'all don't want to even think about what the MSRP would be if Ford were to somehow build Raptors on a separate line with...
That is exactly what we are saying. The "build quality" will be down to the lowest common denominator, a regular cab F-150 work truck that you can buy for less than $25K after rebates. A poverty spec F-150work truck is certainly not going to be built up to a $70K MSRP level. This is true...
Consistently amazed at the shit I see in the big box home improvement store parking lots. I have no idea how the stores have it set up to where they are not liable because they don't have you sign any kind of waiver or anything. I for one would be looking to sue if a loved one were killed or...
Yeah, not orange peel at all. The skin of the door panels has bits that look 'sucked in' usually near the door handles as if someone would have applied a huge pushing force on it and almost dented the door all around the handle. Pretty much every current gen F-150 has this. Take a look down...
The cost of the truck is irrelevant. The Raptor costs $70K because it is a loaded up F-150 with a lot of development costs into the suspension. The door panels are the same ones from a $25,000 F-150 work truck that your local municipality would buy. They are built the same way at the end of...
At first I thought he was doing one of those truck "pulling contests" wherein two trucks hook up hitch to hitch and see who can pull who. But I think they are just talking about some 0-to-whatever speed runs. Calling it a "pull" is sort of weird, I usually see that term used to refer to a run...
I would prefer the naturally aspirated 7.3 at 450hp and 450 lb-ft for reasonable money (no reason it should be any more than a 3.5 ecoboost really) to a ridiculously boosted 5.2 at 700hp and 650lb-ft for ridiculous money. No way that truck is on a dealer lot without a sticker that is deep into...
Ford stylist: Job done, nobody could possibly do anything to make this Raptor pickup more tacky. We have achieved peak tackiness.
Holeshot: Hold my beer...

This thread here has a pretty definitive discussion on the width^^
Also, apply some common sense. Just look at the narrow center console in the pictures and extrapolate from there. This thing is simply not going to be...
That width that you guys are pointing to is the width with the mirrors. This thing will be a useful 20" shorter than a Raptor and at least a foot narrower. The inevitable U.S. version will doubtless get the 2.7 ecoboost and the 10-speed. Should be a hoot if they can keep the price reasonable...
Cue the expert stage left....
Why does the dyno graph look weird? HP and torque should intersect at 5250rpm, what is the deal?:specialed:
Edit: Oops, now I see that one set is red and one is blue. Usually the HP and torque from one run is shown as two different colors. I am retarded. Carry...
He was referring to the distinction between an "off the shelf" tune like MPT will sell you and an individual tune made for an individual truck by a pro using a dyno and a laptop. Typically, one can realize both greater power gains and better drivability with a well executed dyno tune...
Stock Raptor runs 18psi of boost so either the boost measurement you are seeing is off or they added waaaaay more than 4psi. Your stock turbos should be good to spike around 21-22psi and then taper to redline. I don't know what is going on with your exact setup but I do know that there is no...
So many people on this forum are so grossly misinformed that I almost can't believe it sometimes.

I am still on the fence as to whether or not I will buy a Raptor in the next year but I am going to be honest here. This forum has thus far been a huge turnoff for me with respect to the Raptor community. In my 20 years on internet enthusiast boards I have never come across a community of so...
