I just did Foutz Motorsports slot delete washers with a used set of Icon UCA’s. I thought I could get away with locking the LCA’s in the center position and making a jig to copy the stock UCA’s but that didn’t work. I did learn some valuable information regarding tightening up the LCA’s with no...
I was suggesting that they may have been replaced under warranty. Some raptor owners would walk away after dealing with cam phaser issues. Or maybe they just walked away knowing something was wrong.
I paid 1300 for the whole package From the clean garage. The brand is Kranzle and the de-ionizer is from RV-mods. The Clean Garage had the pressure washer kit and the DI. I found a coupon code for 11% and got free shipping. No complaints about their services. I did add a hose reel after that...
The kranzle is a nice in place unit but I’ve also heard good things about the comet 1700. Obsessed garage sells it as well and it’s nice because it’s static which means it shuts off when the trigger isn’t pulled. It also is a all in one unit and priced a lot cheaper
I just got my designated wash system set up about a month ago and love it. My well water has a ton of minerals in it and even with a good blow off and drying I’d get water spots. The microns tester that came with my DI system has my tap water at 700 and after the DI it tested at 10. It was hard...
Easy on a brand new truck. You can find YouTube videos for shock replacement which is pretty much what your doing. FYI the lower shock mount bolt is 405 foot pounds torqued
Let’s be honest, you get a tune for more HP and torque. And if I had a dad that owned a ford dealership I would beat the living **** out of daddy’s raptor. I have a Cobb stage 2 tune and I didn’t get it to save on gas mileage. I should have a bumper sticker that says
I VOID WARRANTYS
Got long winded on my post. My main reason for +3 and shackles was to have options. It was my first suspension mod and I hadn’t decided what my plans were. I just wanted the rear end to calm down. Deavers are one of my top mods.
I have +3 deavers with +2 rpg shackles and SVC bumpstops. I was running rpg 1.5” collars up front and with that setup I had a 1” rake in the front. I just went fox 3.0’s and for some reason they raised the rear a 1/2” but now I have the ability to put the front at whatever height I want so I’m...
Can’t they just make the mold from the carbon fiber flares. I asked Anderson and they said they’re not interested. I would love some wide plastic fender flares but the carbon fiber is to much bling for me.
where the leaf springs attach at the rear to the frame. I’ve used that area to lift the truck with a jack. You can use the frame rails if you have really tall jack stands. If lifted from the frame you will get full leaf spring drop.
If you can get higher jackstands and lift at the rear shackles you will get full leafspring drop and get the most product applied. The current lift point is no different than the truck sitting on the tires.
I haven’t seen a shovel that looks like it seen work yet in anyone of these threads. Good to have if you need it but not getting much use from what I’ve seen.
