Here's what I used in the attached pics. And yes, there are much better lights these days than a 1970's Maglite...but some things are hard to part with. It's just a blunt instrument at this stage in its' life.
- Rubber 'Quick Fist' Super Clamp - 2.5" to 9.5" Diameter x2
- Rubber 'Quick Fist' Clamp, Pair - 1" to 2.25" Diameter x2
- BuiltRight Industries Riser Mounts (Pair) - Quick Fist Original

What did you use to bolt down the 1”-2.25” clamps for the shovel and axe?

Bolts come with the clamps. Is that what you mean? I used the risers + Quick Fist 1-2.25" clamps for the two Shovel mounts. Just the 1-2.25 clamps for the axe. A tip from my personal experience doing the Built Right install, is to mount the clamps before mounting the racks themselves. It may take a little trial and error to get the tool spacing you want. I also had to navigate around the Retrax cover. Wasn't a big deal. Don't bother with the front bed racks if you have a Retrax or plan to get one. I just have rears on both sides. The cover box takes up most of the real estate that the front racks would utilize.

I haven’t seen a shovel that looks like it seen work yet in anyone of these threads. Good to have if you need it but not getting much use from what I’ve seen.

No, I meant how did you bolt the quick fist clamps (1”-2.25”) to the Builtright brackets? It’s my understanding those clamps do not come with hardware needed to mount them to the bracket.

Now you are taxing my memory ;-) If they didn't come with, then I likely purchased stainless steel bolts/nuts. Sorry I can't be more help on your question.

I've used my shovel a few times. I use the saws and clippers/pruning tools quite a bit more to open up trails.

It’s insurance, and for karma, not actually for digging. The day you forget it is the day you will need it.

View attachment 136871 The Original Quickfist is perfect for those, but you need the builtright extension for the shovel. It comes with the Quickfist.

What an awesome setup man! Can you run through all of the gear you carry in the back? Including the type of cover? I am looking to do something very similar to this. And when I say very similar, I mean mirror you exactly :D

Thank you!

I always take a shovel. It beats the heck out of a little orange plastic trowel for digging cat holes ...
