One of our shop techs is a Duratrac die hard. He just put a set on a jeep he bought. He told me back when he bought them that they do get louder as they wear. He said they tend to wear uneven.
I just have a hang up about Goodyear tires for one. Haven't had good experiences with them for...
I can't believe Ford won't pony up the couple dollars to have a TPMS sensor in the spare AND have the pressure info available on the dash.
I wonder if Forscan has the ability to make that addition???????
Instead of rotating it through because it's such a PITA I was just figuring on only buying...
Not trying to add fuel to this fire but I have a friend that owns a shop with dyno. They did some work for a shop that was "testing" their product and wanted to show the "gains" it produced. It actually lost a little power over stock. They asked my buddy to manipulate the dyno tests so it...
Pretty simple actually. If you write a check we can sign the MSO over to you and issue a temp tag. That gives you 30 days to pay your taxes and DMV fees in your state. Or (and if you finance) we have a company that we have everything processed for you within that 30 day window.
That may be a way to look at it. Hard to tell since I usually don't keep my vehicles that long. Either way I've been on the fence since I bought my 13' Ecoboost and never pulled the trigger. I'll be curious to see how much my truck collects driven the way I drive it and in the conditions I...
He did. But in today's competitive world where we sell most of our inventory close to cost we need to make the money on the few opportunities we get. Their market area may be different but like I said we paid dealer to dealer $1k over invoice just to get an extra unit. We sold that truck in...
Damn it OP you just cost me $140!!
Just an FYI if you order from JLT direct they don't collect sales tax (so don't forget to report it on your income tax : )) but Amazon does. Looks like the same price everywhere.
That's a hell of a deal. Honestly don't know why the dealer would do that. We bought one from another dealer this year and paid $1,000 over invoice to get it.
We've sold all of our 18' and 19' allocation plus the extra one we got for sticker price. Plus we still have a waiting list (short)...
I wasn't even involved in the deal. So I can't take any credit for it. Actually 2 of our newer salesmen sold the truck. Neither one of them even knows much of anything about the Raptors. Most of the specialty vehicles like this almost sell themselves. Typically the customer comes in knowing...
Well the truck is sold and gone.
Was out of the body shop on Friday, customer was here Saturday to look at it, made up his mind yesterday and picked it up about 2 hours ago.
So basically it was on the lot 3 business days after being finished in the body shop.
As I promised I'd post the...
No
And I'm pretty sure there isn't even proof that they make any additional power unless you upgrade the turbos. Well other than the manufacturers claims.
Go to the thread link posted above and read it. These seemed intriguing when they were released but I have yet to find proof that they...
I don't do much drag racing but I've taken my 03' Cobra to the track a couple times. With street tires I can barely put that 60' time.
As I said that is an impressive time for a 5,7XX # truck with 35" tires and bone stock except for a tune.
That's impressive!
I'm assuming that's on the 93PRX tune?
Any chance you loaded the stock tune and tried that?
Also how were you launching? Drive mode? Any brake boost? 2wd, 4auto, 4wd?
My 97' is green. It had the horrible looking tan leather in it. But I did an interior swap from an 03' Cobra. So now it's got the charcoal/black 03' interior.
Wet road acceleration I think is OK. WAY better than my Toyos on my 13' truck and this truck has 100 more hp.
Really by wet road traction I was referring to driving traction and standing water. The Toyos I had were like driving on ice when the roads were wet.
I just towed a 5,000 #...
Interesting experiences and opinions on tires in here.
This is my first set of BFG's in probably 20 years and I'm very pleased with them. Snow traction had been good, rain traction has been great plus pretty quite for street use. Hardly anyone here seems happy with them though. I don't...
I'm not sure but if you remember the miles when you dropped it off you can compare that with what Ford Pass says. You could also compares miles to empty if you knew roughly what that was when you dropped it off.
We discourage the customer from doing it because it's not in the best interest of either party. But if that's what the customer insists on doing we're going to do it. I've lost deals trying to discourage people from buying something they really couldn't afford. So yes if the customer insists...
That all depends. The person that usually does a 10 year loan is typically burying negative equity. When you spread a few or several thousand dollars over 120 months (even at a high rate) its much less per month (not in the long run though) than how that same amount of money impacts a 2 or 3...
