Were you guys drunk? Some of this damage is like Wtf were you doing. Granted I bent my spindle but that's just a result of generally being awesome. I didn't sustain an ounce of body/underbody damage otherwise. Must have been the ICONs
No, because I am already talking to SDHQ about getting new spindles with their gusset kits tig welded and also SDHQ tie rods. Definitely won't leave home without either. I suggest everyone who drives hard off road does the same. The factory spindles are garbage. It took nothing to bend them and...
Honestly it's simple enough to do yourself if you can turn a wrench. We don't have any vendors in the southeast that immediately come to mind for perch adjustments. Any off road shop with proper instructions could do it easily as well.
I did a couple small mods while at the Havoc run.
1. ICON Mid-flap system (not pictured)
2. Black FX-4 style OEM HID headlights to better match my black grille/bumper. Thank you Raptor Retrofit.
1. Do the adjustable pedals, namely the gas pedal, have any effect on throttle response? Think about it, when you move the pedal all the way "up", there's about 4.5" from pedal to floor. When you move the pedal all the way down, there's about 3" pedal to floor. Since at any point of adjustment...
ICON lower arm skid plates are in your future. These aluminum arms get torn up so easily. I kissed one rock with my lower arm and the skid plate barely flinched.
Since I'm in a helpful mood...
Improved ride (anecdotally speaking)
Higher ground clearance for avoiding obstacles at speed and improved approach angle.
Improved look
Improved tire to wheel well clearance at full compression
Supposedly Fox tested and tuned the Raptor shocks at middle perch but...
Need the tuner. Just to bring you up to speed, the T/H button reference is an ongoing joke on FRF because of a discussion last year where someone posted a remark of their truck being faster at the drag strip in T/H mode. The phrase Tow/Haul Ass Mode was coined, and it's again as I said an...
I swapped out my speakers - 5x7s front and rear with A-pillar tweeters (JL C5 570 components in front, JL C3 570 coax in rear) and added a JL W0 10" sub with JL 250/1 amp.
What this accomplished was:
- Used the JL crossover to drive the front tweeters, producing slightly louder and more clear...
For what it's worth, my lower arm bolts have never moved and they are pushed all the way out because I lengthened my upper ICON arm to gain wheel track. We laid on them with an impact gun during my initial alignment after installing the ICON front 3.0s and they have not moved since. As a matter...
