Windshield Washer ?

And, boy do I feel dumb. To get the windshield washers to work I press
the button on the end of the lever and hold it in for a few seconds. That
works great, I get a spray and a few wipes.

Now, if I rotate the bezel on the stock towards the driver the windshield
washer motor comes on, a few drips spray on the windshield and that's it.

On the lever there is a "D" and something that looks like a small t.v. screen
with legs. I check the owners manual and my magic lever does not look
like the one in the picture.

Any ideas?

could it be for the front camera???? (if you have one)? i dunno, i have a 2011 so im not too familiar with the front view cameras

That is correct. And if you're so inclined, you can toggle on the Courtesy Wipe for extra freshness.

WTH! And this whole time I thought Courtesy Wipe was something you did in the bathroom, and now Ford has automated it. I'm sorry, but that will always remain in the off position in my vehicle.
