Gen2 glass was weak as the rest of them.
My 2020 with almost 100k had lots of pits and a few chips.
Took a bullet hole from a rock kicked up by a semi the week I got it.

Well maybe the 2018 is the best year for glass then. They probably switched glass suppliers after that. :(

One interesting item that I found when I was looking into replacing the Gen2 glass...
Is that there is a replacement with Gorilla Glass,
like a cell phone.
Expensive, but much more rock resistant.
Should be a factory option !

Yes, fun rumor. But, do you know of ANY Raptor owner with it? I’ve tried to source it twice through a dozen suppliers and the answer was the same each time, “we cannot find the part number anywhere “

I’ll be surprised if any of us have it.

Interesting.
I remember talking to someone about it.
Apparently the Gorilla Glass was the inner layer.
Not what I would have expected.
But apparently it was a mirage anyway.
