Sounds very similar to what happen to me but on an ‘18 at 5500 miles. Ford authorized a new transmission after a few other attempted fixes first, protocol I am sure. Seems much better then original and all good at least at 6500 miles now. Took 48 days in my case but dealer moved at a snails...
