Yes - you are right. Still, buyers are shifting away from the f150. I have not seen any new Chevy/GMC 1500s on the road. I did drive a new Trail Boss for a day and noticed power was ok, ride was good (but not like a raptor), and I liked the exhaust sound for a stock truck. However, they look awful. The GMC might be a bit better look, but people aren't buying.

Come spend 5 hours on South I-35. I see many F-150s and about every 3rd vehicle is a pickup truck and 2/3 of those are Fords. Of course this is Texas.

I was in San Antonio for 2wks in September and noticed superduty trucks everywhere. Also saw tons of border patrol gen1 raptors as we got close to the border.
My point was just that I don't see any new f150s being sold. The new RAM is everywhere though. Regardless of quality, looks, history, they are selling a bunch of them.

I see 3 Gen2 Raptors for every ewe ... err... Ram. I’m seeing plenty of new F150’s, as Ford’s sales numbers bear out.
Of course, if you’re only looking for Dodges and Chevy’s because you have an axe to grind, sure, that’s what you’re going to see.

I’m sure there may be markets in which the F150 doesn’t sell as well... Maybe one day the F150 won’t be the number one selling truck. That might be good for Ford in the long run to compel some more game. Right now, I don’t think they need to do much more than evolutionary updates to keep ahead though.
