3 quarts of 75w-140 synthetic for stock cover, 5 quarts for mag-hytec cover. I always buy one extra quart just in case. If you have stock cover need new silicone to seal it back up as well.
Is there any posts with the output of the new big light cannons. I ordered the small 4.5 inch ones a week before they announced the new ones and was pissed. The small ones are awesome but twice what the little ones put out would be crazy. Guess I could always move the little ones out back for...
Not sure if this is just me or not but for anybody with the updated filter I would check the reservoir about every 500 miles. I have checked mine twice now with about 500 miles in between and it was full. I used to check it with the old filter every oil change (every 4000 miles). I can't believe...
I used a heat gun on my 2012s. I just did one side a time and slowly went around and was able to peel most of it apart by hand and used a screwdriver to cut/pry what I couldn't get by hand.
You could always do your own headlights. It's not really that hard it's just a little time consuming and tedious, but if I can do it anyone can. I think I spent 500-600 bucks on everything. The retrofit source is a great site to pick up most everything you would need.
I also just bought some Bosch icons 22a and 22b, had to get them after having some trico black onyx on for about 6 months before they fell apart. I had bought those because the rain x latitudes that I bought didn't have the little curve to the back of them that must help them push against the...
I live in northern NY and I decided to use my stock shocks in the winter since they already look terrible. But I did have my new fox 3.0s on for about 2 weeks in the snow and they already had a bunch of pitting, so I don't think it is going to matter which kind of shock you get.
I doubt it but is there any way to keep the tailgate with the tire on it. could you maybe even mount it backwards to have the tire towards the front so I could keep the tailgate installed
I have had my JLT on just the passenger side for at least 2500 miles and have checked it with the old filter after 500 miles then after 1000 miles and there wasn't anymore then about a tablespoon in it. Then I got the updated filter and put about 150 miles of normal driving on it, and when I...
looks great going to copy:) But since I have seen this I have been thinking about another idea. So at first I was thinking about getting some white ones and using them for a hood light, but then I thought what if I got amber and put them in the front of the hood to backlight the ford logo and...
Were you still moving forward at all, I have had it do that when I was in a hurry and put it in reverse before the truck had stopped moving completely. I was barely moving, always thought it was a safety thing or something.
Does the bumper come with a skid plate and where does it mount to. I will email the company as well, I wonder if they will make it to fit some kind of led light bar. And how well do you think the aluminum bumper will hold up to impacts.
I like those, why have I never heard of this company before. I guess I got some internet searching to do. Did you buy from them or one of their dealers.
I used to have the floods and they were great there when I had the stock headlights. but when I retrofitted the headlights they didn't do anything anymore and I moved them to the side for fog lights.
Didn't realize they made body lifts for the raptor, maybe its made for the regular f -150, the front looks like it has a spacer cant see the shock perch. It looks good just wouldn't do any real offroading in it.
So I was just out in one of our hay fields and decided to put it in 4x4 to build up speed, and noticed the front end popped whenever I gunned it and had the tires spin. How worried should I be, it seems normal when I am in 2wd or just driving normally in 4x4. And if I do take it in to the dealer...
I just plasti dipped the ford letters, its a nice contrast, I think painting it all would look better but I am to scared I screw it up. so plasti dip for now
Just wanted to say this kit is a great way to spend 100 bucks. I just took off my kit that has been on for about a year and half, (because I am going RPG Stage 3) and was surprised to see that the oval piece and the parallelogram piece were both slightly bent. the oval pieces also have a tiny...
