These are really easy to use with a heat gun. Slip a piece of shrink tube over the wire that'll cover the solder seal on either side by an inch or so, do the seal, then slip the shrink wrap over the whole thing and heat it to shrink it down. You'll never have an issue. I've used these for years...
I've seen mine do it a few times, and it only does it after my wife has driven it and adjusted them manually. If I hit the #1 button they adjust back to where I need them and stop the run away clicking. Not sure why, but it does sound like it's going to break something.
That's nuts. My 18 802a with same miles was 55k in May of last year and it has 10k+ worth of upgrades on it. I think 63k is damn near sticker on an 800a. If you're going to pay a super premium, I'd at least get one loaded up with some added goodies. A few for sale on here for that $ with a good...
If the dealer is willing to replace it with another plastic pan...and your dealer is cool...maybe see if they'll 'replace' it but put that new metal one in instead? Unless you're like me and you'd just rather do it yourself knowing it'll be done right...pain in the ass for sure.
Non-profit or not, the rules for a raffle are the same. Also a sweepstakes is where you can write and request a ticket, not a raffle. It's a pain for us to manage as states change laws all the time. We've had to jump through some hoops to make them available online, and we have to limit certain...
Not illegal, just have to have the proper license to run it. In every single state. The kids foundation I’m part of does raffles all the time for trips and such ($20 tickets) and we have to limit it to certain states and hold a license in each one to do it. I don’t know which states, but I know...
As others have said just get good glass. Safelite carries some brands that are garbage. I've had better luck filing a claim (have full glass coverage, no deduct) and calling a local glass shop and seeing what brands they have. I actually didn't go OEM on my wife's X5 recently as the shop had...
Serviced recently? A whine is typically a bearing going out or the mesh got out of spec somehow. From the looks of the pic you grenaded the ring gear. Hopefully your axels are ok and you just need a new carrier unit/ring/pinion. You may have some luck finding a whole rear end from a junk yard...
I have no idea what that is. Cryptography? Do you do something with blockchain stuff?
I manage money for a living, and I too have zero crypto. Kinda wish I bought 100 Bitcoin years ago when it was at like $30 like my baby bro suggested. He sold his on the pop a year or so ago and paid for his...
For sure, plus you being in SoCal you don't have the winter garbage like we have in CO. The mag will etch the clear coat if you leave it on there, so getting it off is priority one. I have a full detail type setup in my garage which I use for my more 'delicate' toys.
I send mine through all the time and have a wash membership. It's far more important to me to get the mag chloride off after a snow storm than worrying about some micro scratches from the soft cloth wash. I have some CO pinstripes from trail time anyway. It's a truck...

Absolutely gorgeous! I have a narrowed ford 9" in my 68 Camaro with 31 spline gun drilled axels. Did that after it broke a 28 spline on the dyno
I noticed Waze jacked mine up as well. I also rarely use it anymore (native map is flawless and easily syncs with my calendar appointments). Once I deleted waze it hasn't given me grief. Also +1 on the Apple cable.
I've done all of mine. I'm the equivalent of 5% in the back (I think he put 40 on over the factory tint) and then 15% on the front windows. I also did 5% on the pano roof and I really like that as you can leave the shade open and the sun doesn't bake you. I've never done the windshield on...
I don't have the Burger CC on my Raptor, but I have their JB4 tuner and it's excellent. I've had many of their products on my BMWs, and had their catch cans on my twin turbo X5M, X6M and M4 (along with the JB4). Support is awesome and they do a ton of R&D. If they released one, it's because they...
