What do you guys do off of your phone other than Waze or music? I have my music on a flash drive, I'm wondering if I'm missing something good?

I think it’s the cable. I had horrible connection issues and all I changed was the cable. No issues since then.

The stuff from Amazon seems to be hit or miss with Apple.

This was my issue. CarPlay would start, then intermittently loose connection, or fail to start at all. Changed to Apple OEM cable, has been flawless since.

I went with a wireless carplay solution and it is way more reliable than the wired connection. Go figure. Installed a QI charging phone holder as well.
