I saw that the other day. Awesome looking truck, I'd be curious to know the cost.
It was tough to get past OP's spelling though. "His builds are insaine." *shudder*
Nah, the truck is pretty factory -- About 2.5 months in so far. This also isn't my first foray into the inconsistencies of the product.
My assumption is this: Ford may be staggering these updates, which would be smart of them. If you push a bad patch to, say, a large number of sous vide...
Thanks for the tip. I've thought of doing that, but every time I get the popup, I've already started driving. By the time I reach my destination, I forget about it.
Not to mention, I tend to dislike temporary workarounds, because they promote the lack of necessity for a permanent fix.
Yes, I think long in the tooth is a more apt description.
And good suggestion on the satellite route, but definitely not it. I pretty much use the productivity screen as a gateway to Apple Car Play. When it does fail to connect and defaults back to radio, it's FM.
And you're right on Ford's...
For sh*ts and giggles, I just walked outside and took a look at the undercarriage of my truck. Looks pretty much the same as yours, including the skid plate. First time I've noticed, and doesn't bother me in the least.
The skid plate shouldn't have a ton of corrosion on it, so that one is worth looking into more if it's beyond a reasonable amount. The rest of it seems fairly expected.
I wouldn't worry too much about resale. That's not the underside of a Porsche or McLaren... It's a truck. There are...
I've never had anything other than the factory bedliner, though I will say you'll get cargo sliding around. I had one of these in my 2016 F150, and threw it in the Raptor once I moved up. I haven't had any problems with cargo shifting in the 3.5 years I've had it, and it's easily removed when...
Has it gotten better than it was six years ago when I first got a vehicle with Sync? No argument there. Though referring to it as mature is certainly a relative term.
My frustrations stem from frequent experience. Just yesterday after starting my commute I had no audio and volume control was...
The issue is simple: Sync sucks. I've had the same problems with my last two F150s and my wife's last two Explorers. Sync is just a garbage platform.
I usually keep my phone connected via USB -- It's a stable connection and charges the phone at the same time. I also get a better (though...
Here's a question: What does the corrosion hurt? It's the underside of the truck, so you'll never see it unless you're crawling under there.
Surface rust and other forms of corrosion are common on pickups/mass produced vehicles. It will not in any way affect performance or longevity of the...
Disagree with the delay of one week for the factory liner. The common opinion is the bedliner adds an extra 1-2 days to build, but no more.
For example, my truck was built and delivered to me in six days. So obviously the bedliner didn't delay delivery by seven days, ha.
I have the Husky no-drill mudflaps on my Raptor. I don't think they take away too much from the appearance of the truck.
I can't speak to whether they will prevent chips or not, but I noticed a significant decrease of debris being thrown against the side of the truck and under the running...

I bought that for my old 2016 F150 without a spray-in bedliner. My Raptor has a spray-in liner, and I threw the mat in it to prevent things from sliding around. Works great, and is also very easy to remove should the need arise.
First off, I'd be frustrated too. That sounds incredibly annoying and I'd likely be introducing those within earshot of my garage to a few uniquely strung together curse phrases.
That being said, comparing a Ford pickup truck to a Porsche is a little disingenuous. One is, imo, a top-tier...
What role does the partner play? Are they in another truck or the same truck as you?
I'm registered for October 20th-21st. Was hoping my brother could join, but his Raptor was purchased last January, and apparently they're much more strict with the rules than you'd think, so I'm going solo.
There is certainly some validity to this; The Internet is full of keyboard tough guys, and people who think uninformed opinions are just as meaningful as those that are well thought out.
However, OP's post content also needs to be considered. It was not only ignorant, but clearly incendiary...
lol, wow... You sure got fired up about being roundly criticized for something you should be criticized for.
1) Never did I use the words "click bait". I called it troll bait, which it was.
2) That's clearly a gen1, not a gen2. Not being able to differentiate them is your fault, but more so...
Agreed. I had a 2016 XLT with a 2.7L, and kept it for an extra month after I got my Raptor. Raptor is faster, but not by a lot.
This is a great testament to the ecoboost platform. Despite what the unintelligent hairy woodland creature will have you think, the EBs have been a great addition...
You also have to consider perspective. As in, it's a truck. If your perspective is GT350 acceleration, you're in the wrong vehicle.
Though I have to say I was surprised the Raptor wasn't as fast as what I expected compared to my old '16 F150 XLT w/2.7L v6. But I think that's more a testament...
The Bronco has traditionally been a two door SUV. It would be hard to see Ford bringing the Bronco back as something with a third row; That's Expedition/Explorer territory. And I say hard to see, because the production specs haven't been announced; Everything is speculation.
Honestly, I...
