GEN 2 My truck is gutless !!

Hu I just started driving my 2019 (it was sitting for 2 weeks waiting for the ceramic coat to harden. One thing I noticed is it’s gutless...anything I should be checking for ? I have it set on sports, feels like about 300-350hp. Thanks !

Have your dealer make sure it’s still not in dealer prep mode.

It's called transport mode and things like the power window and infotainment system will not work. I am not sure if engine power is limited in transport mode.

How many miles on it? The computer limits power for 500+ miles for break-in.

Did you make sure that it has the twin turbo 3.5?

You also have to consider perspective. As in, it's a truck. If your perspective is GT350 acceleration, you're in the wrong vehicle.

Though I have to say I was surprised the Raptor wasn't as fast as what I expected compared to my old '16 F150 XLT w/2.7L v6. But I think that's more a testament to the 2.7L EB being fast than it is the 3.5L EB Raptor being slow.

Overall, I love the truck, and think it's got plenty of guts. I'm just not going to be trying to beat any actual sports cars off a line or anything.
