I dont have aftermarket lights of any type, but I could take some rough measurements of the opening.
Here's a pic of the SDHQ mount with lights. The Rough country plate has at lesat the same amount of space.
The SDHQ plate is really nice, but it's $400. There are plenty of F150's out there with the Rough Country plate and I never read of one bending or having any issues of any type. I can tell you that fitment in the Raptor is perfect.
I bought mine off of Amazon with a coupon. I think I paid...

I'm in Central Phx and would be happy to show you my setup.
For serious offroading, I think a winch is a must. As far as brands, 4Wheelers Supply is a Warn Service center. They stock...
Harblar, Thank you for putting this together. I followed your instruction to the letter and am very impressed with the results. Now I just need to get a better USB drive.
I recently installed a FiberMax I bought from Morrie as well. Great guy and great product!
I live in Phoenix so no need to wash often and no rain so I can't say if it leaks.
I see your point Big Blue. It's just one of those little things that bugs me and it seems like there should be a simple fix.
You are correct on one account...when doing 60+ in a sandy wash, I'm not thinking about the tailgate badges :)

I want to remove the "Raptor SVT" and Ford "F150" from the tailgate. We all know there are locating holes under the "F150" badge. I know the proper way to accomplish this is weld the holes, fill, sand, and repaint. I would prefer not to do this. Has anyone come up with a way to fit a filler...
I have the Ford F150 mat from Amazon. I think I paid around $130 shipped. Fitment is great and I've had over 500lbs of pavers on it and it's held up. A little 303 Protectant and it looks brand new.
I painted my stock reflectors. $40 for primer, ingot silver paint, and clear at Auotmotivetouchup.com. I think they look great and they match the mirror caps perfectly.
Here's a quick pic I have on my work PC:
Here's another:
Pretty much wherever I can get a deal. Safeway gas points work at Chevron and when I have no points, I go to Costco. I have been running 91 since new and have averaged 13.1 mpg over 5500 miles. I'm happy with the mileage...it's better than my Jeep was.
What is the feasibility of making a mount that goes from the bed rail to the cargo hook mounts already in the bed? This would make use of a location already designed to carry a load and not have to drill additional holes. I would like to make mounts like this on both sides of the bed using bar...
Currently, I have a 20LB CO2 tank and want to mount it in the bed under the rail. Eventually, when I get a hard tonneau cover, i want the tank and mount to still fit. I'm thinking that behind the wheel wells on either side may be the best solution. I don't think there are going to be any bolt...
You will retain your factory tow hooks with the Rough Country mount as well. The SDHQ mount is a solid, well built mount, but the price is absolutely ridiculous.
Can't go wrong with a Warn. Also check out the Rough Country mount. Fit perfect and 1/2 the cost.
Here's I thread from my install:

I had my SuperCrew tinted yesterday with Suntek High Performance. I went with 30% on the rear windows and rear doors and 15% on the front doors and sunroof. My installer had a light meter and measured all of the doors before he started. The rear doors showed 21.7% and the front doors showed...
I used heavy duty zip ties to reattach the flap. Looking under the skid on my truck looks 100% stock. Once you are in there, its easy to see what needs to be done.
