I ordered a set of the 4xRAC mounts. I'm hoping I can make them work, along with a shovel mount.

Using a quick fist clamp and a plate, I'm would like to do something like this.

Only thing is, I don't have access to a shop or materials for the plate. Maybe you or WSI? Obviously, compensation would be made for such generosity. :D

Yeah, we could figure something out. I've got tons (literally) of bar stock. WSI is your welder, and I've got the machine shop. Between us we can make it happen.

I'll probably be making a shovel/axe mount as well. I've seen the 4xRAC ones, but I wanted something that locked, so I just made one.

I was practicing with the hi-lift this weekend. Not too bad on level ground.
Will be looking for something that really ties the jack to the tow hook for a safer solution.

What is the feasibility of making a mount that goes from the bed rail to the cargo hook mounts already in the bed? This would make use of a location already designed to carry a load and not have to drill additional holes. I would like to make mounts like this on both sides of the bed using bar stock or similar to mount recovery gear and a hi-lift in the unused space.

Thoughts?

I could build something like that really easily As I work and partially own a welding shop
