I want to remove the "Raptor SVT" and Ford "F150" from the tailgate. We all know there are locating holes under the "F150" badge. I know the proper way to accomplish this is weld the holes, fill, sand, and repaint. I would prefer not to do this. Has anyone come up with a way to fit a filler panel from the inside that would be body color and "fill" the holes and attach with adhesive? Maybe a body color sticker to cover them up? Up close, I'm sure the outlines would be visible, but I think it would be cleaner than the F150 badge.

Thoughts?

A lot of people use those little plastic plugs and paint them. Use a bit of RTV or adhesive and put them in the hole. Not perfect but it looks good from far away.

Thoughts...

Pull off the Raptor badge and call it a day. Go offroading, it's not a Car Show...and if you have the need to yank more stuff off, then take off both 6.2 badges.

my 2 cents.

I see your point Big Blue. It's just one of those little things that bugs me and it seems like there should be a simple fix.

You are correct on one account...when doing 60+ in a sandy wash, I'm not thinking about the tailgate badges :)

Interesting. I'd love to see a pic of this as I think there are 5 or so holes there.

The very first thing I did was to remove the 6.2 and Raptor badge. Figured if you didn't know what it was, I wasn't tellin. Only left the F150 because of the holes.

Buy an F-150....then you don't have to worry about Raptor badges. Seriously???? That bothers you? WOW. do the wider fenders bother you? How about the LED lights? Come on dude, get over it, you bought a Raptor, use it for what it's worth and stop trying so hard.

P.S. I heard weather tech mats are awesome and so are painted flares, along with a fabtech lift...get on it.
