I feel I may have jumped the gun offering an sPOD bracket if none of you have been thinking about adding an sPOD switching system to your Raptor. :)
I have worked closely with the sPOD group to come up with a nice solution to add an extra 6 switches for accessories and there are a few changes...
Now Available - Raptor sPOD Under Hood Bracket
It has come to my attention that Raptor owners are starting to or have run out of switches for their lights and accessories etc. The sPOD power distribution system is becoming very popular, but their is not a bracket to mount the brains of the...
GSi Motorsports has just completed our latest Tradeshow showing our Hanning LED lights and our Tradeshow prices are still available until the end of March as shown on the website. There are many companies selling LED's, but in a nutshell, Hanning Led's are 10 watt Cree's, rated IP68, and carry...
Thanks for the welcome guys!! I have been a member here for 3 years and am really excited to be vendor for this group of awesome people. As a Canadian, most of my products are for the guys up north, but I am a stocking dealer for the products I carry and have a large showroom/warehouse in...
Pads have an inside and outside orientation if I remember. If you have this wrong you will get binding. Also, check your caliber slides. Once your caliper is removed make sure they slide in/out freely.
You know what? too early this morning....I forgot I still have everything loaded in my box except my second spare......so I am fine! I think last summer with everything out of my box, I jumped up an 1 to 1.5"
I think the stock height is approx. 42" If somebody could verify this.... but if you...
Well I am quite choked!! I just went and checked my +3 Deavers and I am 42" on the drivers side and 42.5 on the passenger side. These were installed in July of this year! I originally installed the National std leafs and they sagged out, so I after discussing with and reading results on the...
I live up in Edmonton, Alberta and was wondering if there are any organized runs in the Montana/Idaho Area? Just looking to spread my wings a little...
I'm about 5.5 hrs from the US border...
Thanks for your input
Update: Just got off the phone with Spod. Raptor Specific mounting bracket for the controller is under way! Should have finished product in about 4 to 5 weeks....can't wait! Will mount on pass side and straddle the A/C lines and hood shock strut. Bolts to the two fender bolts.
You guys are missing the point here...
. I am quite capable of building a car/truck. This is a car I spent 3 years building..... All mechanical, all electrical etc. now, I just want to buy a simple upgrade for more accessory switches on my Raptor without doing it myself. The Spod is the perfect...
That's good info.... I'll call Connor tomorrow and see if he is making any progress.
Thanks for the information!!
Hahaha.... Found it.. Page 43 of your build thread! Nice truck Gordon. You have had quite the experience with that Raptor!
Gordon, do you have any pics of where you mounted the source under the hood?
Did you make you own custom bracket?
Glad to here a thumbs up! I know a lot of guys on here want to do things themselves. Me included. But sometimes it's just nice not to have to think about installing electrical...
Good feedback, thanks Silentshooter! I keep going back and forth on the Raptor switches vs the other. But as you mentioned, down low they are kind of obscured.
Noah, the switches are already wired up to the harness. 18 connections already done! 4 connections per relay (24 connections) already done. Mounting these relays, 6 fuses to place inline, all integrated. One cable to run thru the firewall .
I don't see how the install time would be the same?
Just don't have the time J! Electronics is my background hahaha...... I'm at a point in my life I need to make things easier. I've done all my mods myself to date including replacing the leafs twice by myself and all suspension etc. just looking for an uncomplicated solution. I can't imagine...
Thanks Noah, yes.... That's the look!
J- I've seen all those threads and know those processes very well. Honestly.... A big pita IMO. I'd really like one professionally built box, strategically mounted under the hood with one harness going to the switches that are all pre wired.....Simple...
Hi Guys, I don't post often, but I am on here daily. I have been in conversation with company in California called S-Pod. They currently have switch systems for Jeep and Toyota, but nothing for the Raptor. I really like their system of switch controls all pre-wired with an easy to hook up Source...
You should be cleaning your filter after every offroad run....the filters get very dirty. Shouldn't compare to the Mazda.....as I'm sure it never went offroad.
All that dirt in your filter was probably from that one offroad trip. That's all it takes :)
If its a yellows color, could be air cond PAG oil leaking..... Just not sure where it would be coming from. What you are describing is what I experienced leaking from one of my other vehicles.......just a thought!
