Dealer wouldn't normally do custom tuning for after market parts. Even if they were capable. You would need to buy a tuner and install whatever tunes you purchase.
Forgot to ad it is normal to install a tune to take full advantage of the mods you have done.
Outstanding write up and build. Your not helping my budget though. More switches, on board air and train horns were on my list anyway. Now I want them even more.
Looks very nice. Quick question, how much room is up there for the back of the switches and wiring? Do you have to lose the sunglass holder functionality? And love the custom switch labels.
Cornering and handling in general off road should improve with any of the 3.0 shocks. I noticed with mine that my truck feels more planted and under control now. It was good before but since I upgraded it has improved the off road handling quite a bit. No complaints with on road handling either...
I had a local fab shop weld gussets on my oem shock mounts. Most likely not needed but better to have them than be stranded and fixing a mess later. Did this after I put the 3.0 Kings on.
For what it's worth I had a blown front shock replaced under warranty. They didn't care that it was set at mid-perch. In fact the shock was ordered before they looked at the truck. Just called service manager and told him one had blown.
Good luck.
Contact via Facebook and Josh will respond very quickly. Never seems to take a day off. Has messaged very promptly. Just guessing if you sent a pm I could see it getting lost with all the notifications when people like or mention a vendor on the forum.
Still trying to find a way to get up there this year. Would love to go this weekend but doubt I can make it. Killing me too I really want to test out the new suspension at a familiar spot.
Good luck. Doesn't sound good. Hopefully the dealer gets it fixed up. If it ends up being water it sounds like you were very unlucky. Most water problems are from water that is too deep. Although water can get sucked up if you run through water with enough speed to splash it up high enough.
Yes, and it is very easy to switch. As for the comment made about working smarter... the SVC kit is easy to change. No need to take shots just to try to sell products.
That is where I ordered from as well. Got the idea from here on FRF. Mine have not arrived yet. Also I found AFE easy to deal with direct. I ordered a replacement filter. Funny that I got no support from the company I purchased from.
Had the same experience with my AFE. I ordered upgraded couplers for mine. I had contacted the forum vendor I purchased my AFE from about the issue. Asked if I could order replacement parts through them. The response I got was they would try but AFE is really hard to get a response from. Never...
I have a couple questions. Where do you relocate the trailer light/controller plug to? And when not using the hitch how is the plate secured, just screwed in like normal? Last question sounds a little silly I know. I just ask to see how secure the plate will be mounted since I have learned...
