Ok so first off I want to say that I love the way this intake sounds and looks. And that's the reason I have it not for performance. But that could have cost me dearly. So I went playing at the dunes got stuck got out got the truck back to where we were parked. The neighbors got there truck stuck and asked if the raptor could pull me out my girlfriend hopped in to go get em and started truck up ran like shit so I told her to turn it off. Popped the hood and the coupling from tube to air filter ripped in half. No clue when it happened or if it sucked up a bunch of sand or not. I temp fixed it and we limped home yesterday. Called afe today and no questions asked they r sending me a new one. I removed the afe box and put a specte filter right over the tube runs fine and doesn't look like any sand made it up there but I guess time will tell on that one. So I guess moral of the story is aftermarket might look pretty but stock is the way to go ha
