The Cannons should be plenty bright. Only thing I don't like with most rear setups is when they are mounted in the center. I like when you have a light towards each corner so better chance to still see one of them when things get whited out. Really comes down to the conditions during the day...
With the Hassle of getting Gen 1 springs I would not hold my breath.
As for the Baja or RPG mod above. RPG hands down. You do not have to remove the shock and spring to install.
With the positive displacement blower it does add a good bit of power. 25 to 70 rwhp can be seen from just the TB depending on the Blower and Pulley being used. Unlike a Turbo or Centrifugal SC where the air moving thru the TB is under boost the PD blowers are under vacuum at the TB so its the...
just be aware that when you add the bigger pulley, TB and Headers and you are on the stock shortblock you are close to the limits of the stock parts. The factory rods and pistons are the weak link in the 6.2l
I have known the owner of VMP for a long time. Justin has a tin of experience tuning fords. He also is probably the most knowledgable shops when it comes to the TVS blowers. Not only do the tune and install them they also have units they designed produced for better flow.
I have had a VMP...
I have a set of Amber/White cannons. Was looking to try and put them in my tail lights but the reflector section for the reverse lamp is so small so I might do the same with the cargo lights.
I drilled Three holes for each. Two for nutserts in 6-32 to mount the light and then used a step bit for the hole to run the wires thru.
I also soldered a diode inline to feed option 2 on the lights and then tapped into the red brake wire on the third brake light. This way I can manually...
Got the lights mounted, still need to finish wiring up the switches. here is the lights on red and also on full amber (I put two kc cyclones just inside each light on a magnetic mount just to give a comparison)
Maybe try something like duct seal putty or clay in those spots as a test. Would give you a wear marker where the ground is touching and if you built it up enough might even be enough to see if the vibration starts to diminish.
So I picked up two Feniex Fusion bars to mount to the left and right of the third brake light. These are surface mount bars with six 4 watt LED's. They come in single and dual colors. I went with Amber/Red combo.
Will set the control 1 to Solid On Amber and then Option 2 to Red Brake...
Jake still doing the same shit. Creating threads for no fucking reason. And this time has to steal another members photo from another thread to feed his uselessness.
If you are looking at tires for driving up in the mountains I would get a set of studded on a second set of rims for those trips or a set of chains. I know the ice can get crazy and its not fun on graded roads with lots of curves.
But for snow (Hard Pack and deep stuff) the KO2's will be...
Having lived in Colorado for a few years, I would say unless you lived up in the mountains a set of studded tires would be a waste. I ran winter tires on the mustang and scoobies but on 4wd trucks just winter rated is all that is needed. Now if you are living up in the mountains or commuting...
Yea I wish I could find a cheap transport option. Most of those convoying are spending the night at the Hampton Inn Birch Run hotel thursday night. And then we will meet up with the other convoys from the area Friday morning for heading up the rest of the way.
I would take the chains with...
I alignment is always recommended. And pretty sure ford has the front lower than they really would like to keep the Feds happy with bumper height for impacts and such and also take into account the rear is designed for a bed load so a couple hundred pounds in the bed and it drops. which is why...
I hope they do something for you, if they do not list any exclusions then they should honor it. And at the same time they should tell those that are jumping on the rebate with out a SEMA registration to move it along..
Well if you did not attend SEMA then I hope you get denied. Now if you were actually a registered and at SEMA with the paperwork to prove it I would press ford on the issue.
Its all the people that try and take advantage of Deals that they should not have gotten in the first place that will...
Bullet Proof Diesel makes a thrid brake light mount for the 2015+ cabs so that you can bolt on the plate between the can and light with a NMO mount on it
That is easy. Its a two piece design. You would use a spring compressor on the springs then since no load you push up the spring seat take the two piece collar and bolt it together around the shock in the spot the stock seat was. Once locked in place you then remove the spring compressors
Depends on the Radio. Units like the Kenwood TK have a built in Amp to feed an external speaker . 13w amp from main unit and 5w from the remote head which is plenty for one like the center channel speaker. Units That have a headphone or line level output should not be used to drive speakers...
