Has anyone installed a VMP Performance Roush SC kit?

reviews, opinions, advice.

I have been trying to educate myself on the 2 kits and compare apples to apples. RW hp seems a bit different but is that based upon the tune or the dyno? Either kit is a chunk of money and Im just trying to do it right the first time even though both kits use the Roush TVS 2300

I've tried 3 different roush sc tunes, and the JDM tune really sets itself apart as far as throttle response and shift points. Colder plugs and an after market throttle body make it even better. Long tube headers work really well with the SC if you can swing it.

My problem is lack of a qualified installer nearby. I like the JDM 650 option, but then I am stuck with a local Ford dealer installing it that I am not comfortable with. The VMP option is less expensive and they install it and dyno it themselves.

I have known the owner of VMP for a long time. Justin has a tin of experience tuning fords. He also is probably the most knowledgable shops when it comes to the TVS blowers. Not only do the tune and install them they also have units they designed produced for better flow.

I have had a VMP custom tune on my Mustang for the past 8 years with no issues.

Yes, I did have just the SC only for about year. Initially I was impressed with extra power but after a while I felt the engine had more potential especially in low end torque.
Had the Kooks installed as well as ford racing TB. When I picked it up from the shop I was really suprised by the increased throttle response. I kept chirping the tires off the line until I recalibrated my right foot. I've never dynoed the truck but there's obvious hp/tq gains.

It seems like the headers let the engine operate more efficiently especially at high revs when the SC is screaming.
I'd love to try a Pedal Commander, just waiting for some feedback from someone with a similar setup.
Maybe I'll be the guinea pig.

just be aware that when you add the bigger pulley, TB and Headers and you are on the stock shortblock you are close to the limits of the stock parts. The factory rods and pistons are the weak link in the 6.2l

I am running a 72mm pulley and tune from VMP with long tubes. My truck is an absolute blast except for when it breaks driveshafts I have had very good luck with Justin on past vehicles and am very happy with his Raptor tune.

You mean the smaller pulley?

Yes the smaller pulley. Originally wrote the Bigger TB, but added in Pulley and did not realize still had bigger infront of it.
