I still don't get the issues people have with Sync 2. I drive Fords with both 2 and 3 on the regular, and they both fuction the same way for me.
I use voice inputs to bring up a full album from my USB drive and play it all the way through, then I switch to another. Sync 2 and Sync 3 function...
I'm not defending shit.
I'm just pointing out that the blower can easily makes hundreds more HP than the stock blower. If you doubt that, well there's no fixing that.
IMO The doubters are clueless about the 100% uniqueness of a postive displacemnt supercharged (P/D S/Ced) engine.
The HP from a positive displacement blower is solely dependant on the blower displacement/internal pressure ratio and the pulley ratio.
You can make less power with a larger blower...
The newer vehicles can fully apply the brakes themselves- so there's a chance they could do something via a programming update. Taking up the slack between the pads and rotor is something they could add for example that would make it feel more responsive. $$$$$$$$ cars have been doing that for...
Drove a 2024 Sport with the coyote engine in Fla as a rental for a week. It had around 2000 miles on it.
I thought the ride/suspension was utter trash compared to my Gen 1 Raptor with 62000 miles on the stock parts.
Power was good with the V8 though, and it sounded great too.
Standard Mobil 1 is no longer a synthetic PAO oil, and hasn't been for a long time.
Syntec ruined it for everyone.
You have to buy their more expensive version of Mobil 1 to get the good oil now.
If there's not already- there's not going to be. The OEMs use the brakes for "limited slip" now so I'm not seeing the need for one to be developed for any of the manufacturers.
You can do a half assed version of the same trick and lightly power brake it if you think you are going to spin...
If you do not use an oil that meets the spec called for in the owner's manual, they can void your warranty.
When would that situation actually happen though?
If they put in non-spec oil at your request, and they knew it didn't meet spec- but did it anyway, who is to blame?
If you put it in...
You got an extra wheel and tire in the bed. Just throw a new left side axle and some brake parts on that side and roll. You only need one tailight to be legal.
Why go get something new and twice as pricey for the drunks to crash into?
Maybe park it in a garage this time?
It's Amazon selling the Fox shocks. Not Amazon sellers. Amazon is the biggest retailer in the world by far.
Rockauto- I believe, is just an aggregated site of independant parts stores. That's why one shock listed will have the "ASH numbers" and the other will be the "1BlZ numbers" stufff...
Yup. The 09-14 system (and up) is nortorious for NOT engaging when needed. It eats itself.
Not sure how Gumby has never heard of that. It's extremely common and is the number one problem with Ford F150s 4WD trucks for the last 20 years.
