Just installed Whipple 3.8L on my 2024 R

Eric, like many, probably doesn’t give two ***** about 1/4 mile, zero 60, (“bitcoin”) etc. Trucks not going to be faster than a car because mass is real. However, measurable improvements are a goal of most. A 200plus whp improvement on the same dyno IS a very measurable improvement even if it’s not on the latest fad. Old non-binary FvCK5 like us are not interested in anything associated with “draggy”, LBG-whatever or other “modern nonsense”.

You chase your dyno numbers which can be manipulated very easily….time slips tell the tale, but I won’t waste my time trying to explain this as you are obviously too busy turning automotive forums into what ever else you are into, no judging but you are in the wrong forum for that *****

Yea I also want to throw a whipple on my R. But I would really like to know how much faster it actually would be. Is this a tenth of a second faster 0-60 or closer to a full second? I have no idea what 200+ ho would do to this thing.

I would hold off until tuning is dialed. No one that dropped the cash for the current set up wants to list any times as the performance increase is not worth the squeeze at this time. I was able to get the answers I was looking for on another group and despite what the dyno shows it’s still not performing the way it could with proper tuning. The Whipple SC is certainly capable of more but the tuning is just not there yet IMHO. In time will it be one of the go to set ups for max performance, 100%, but until then I’m going to keep my money where it is.

I’m willing to bet that you could take a stock R, remove the speed limiter and you would be where the current Whipple kit trucks are sitting now for 0-60 and 1/4 times. (See attached photo).

Yes but what does that have to do with real world results!? This back and forth is getting boring, post your results of your R with a Whipple or stop wasting everyone’s time trying to defend what is lacklustre results for a kit that currently is far from dialed in and living up to its full potential.

I'm just pointing out that the blower can easily makes hundreds more HP than the stock blower. If you doubt that, well there's no fixing that.

Yes and the stock blower can as well…my point is that it’s near impossible to see performance results showcasing what those “hundreds more” equate to….and the reason is that it’s not performing the way an additional 250whp plus should….the tuning is not there yet and what ever magic Ford has used in the software is not allowing the current tune in I fully showcase what that upgrade is really capable of. But for some reason no one wants to talk about it or bring it up, everyone who has it just talks about how good it is but does not show any proof (time slips/draggy times) to back it up. I would love to be proven wrong as I always modify my vehicles but so far I’m not impressed.
