Any KC light fans out there? I like the “Gravity” LED concept with some of their lights. I see the idea behind it but I am not fully convinced. 20w per 6” light seems a bit under designed. But, I have seen some great YouTube footage on their Pro6.
Anywho, KC is giving us a sneak peek at a new...
Thank you! I am very pleased with how it all turned out. I think the lights look absolutely stellar.
Gotta find a place for more BD lights. I have AMP research steps and all the step lighting pods have “burned out.” Or whatever LEDs do when they stop working. I can tell they are very cheap...
Got a few more photos for those interested.
^ after much thought. I decided to mount the BD S1’s here. I like this location. Looks pretty clean and protected.
^ standing on my front bumper.
^ different angle. The S1’s do a really good job. I bet the coverage would be epic if I angled each...
I have been wanting to mount these up since I bought them and, guess what, the stars have aligned. Thanks to recent advice from Alternative Off-road. (Initial order through different vendor and I would rather not muddy this review). Highly recommend AO as a vendor. I have not used all vendors...
“bLaCk OaK LeDs arrrreee way brighter than Rigid and Baja” - every idiot I have talked to that owns that knock off brand.

If I could add to post #636. Is there a different LED found in the LP6 compared to the LP9? I ask because the watts per LED are different between the two lights. Is the LP6 ran harder? Are they the same CREE LED? :) thanks.
You are going to shake KC’s world upside down when those rock guards...
So, I just dug up some of my old photos. The rocky face of this hill is 1,000 feet away (laser range finder):
The VisionX Gen1 25w Cannons are rated for 1,000 feet of “usable light” by VisionX. Here is that night shot proving their claim to be 100% correct and exceeding my expectations...
VisionX was the shit on this forum about 5 years ago. Seems like everyone had a set of gen1 25w cannons near the a-pillar/ hood mount. They were so popular that 10-person group buys were offered by forum vendors often. I would say VisionX was just as popular as BD is now. Of course BD’s...
So....guess what! I must have checked my UPS tracking like a hundred times!
I will update this thread in the coming days with install photos, output photos and a shout out to the forum vendor I bought these from. Stay tuned. I am super excited about this.
Edit: I have not forgot about the...
If you could. Could you repeat this against a better back stop. SAE lighting have to meet strict cut off and that is not shown in the SAE pic. Also, I photo showing the back stop before any light is turned on to give the viewer an idea of the current lighting conditions. I recommend maybe 50’...
Nothing like good ol’ expensive trial and error lol. I wish there was more content from amateurs and vendors on the internet.
I have nothing but great things to say about VisionX. But, don’t be surprised if I treat myself to some LP9’s this coming up Christmas. I sold 4 older gen 1 VX cannons...
How’s about an update. So, the 6’7” VX ADV light cannons have been holding up great. Still look and perform as if I just pulled them out of the box. Truly a great high quality light.
I have been using my lights often the last few months on back roads. Sometimes for multiple hours at a time...
Well this caught my attention! I have been looking at ADD bumpers. Not ready to buy yet. But, in the future. I would like to replace my IronBull bumper. My question to you is, what type of discount is offered or do you sell ADD bumpers at the price advertised on their site. Thanks :)
To the...
Post some photos once you get it all mounted up. I was thinking of doing the same thing. I want the work/ scene so I don’t blast light through my neighbors windows. Thx

Yeah, with that heat and humidity. Gotta make sure you keep that air flow for sure. The light in the photo is just one 20” ONX+ combo. That’s it. Great value. Truly is. I took the combo lens off however. Have the all wide corning in now. It is perfect.
This photo is the all wide cornering. The...
Glad I could help! First part of your comment made me laugh. I have spent a lot of money on lighting. Made some expensive mistakes along the way. Buying higher end lighting, regardless of the company, is a slight gamble. You have an idea, but, you truly have no clue what you are getting...
Personally, I believe BD ONX+ series is a great value compared the their pod lights. According to ADD, you can mount a 20” straight bar there. I run a 20” ONX+ and it is great. It is bumper mounted and I originally had it in combo. I changed to all wide cornering and it is great. Highly...
I found this and I love the idea. Instead of a Rigid light (nothing against Rigid), can it be outfitted with a single BD S2 sport Scene amber? Or a BD S1 scene clear? Will it plug into a 2014 Ram 1500?
Thanks. PM me with pricing :)

I love your recent YouTube content!! Very informative lighting Demos. Much needed. For whatever reason, manufacturers have terrible YouTube content on their products. My opinion. I will buy from you when it’s time to buy lights.

I am not a vendor but I will give you my impression. I like BD lights. Here is a photo of my 20” ONX+ light bar:
Buuuut, I have also ran Rigid lights. I like Both. Over all, I would do Baja Designs. I like the “Uservice” feature, color temp and output. Plus, they are a great brand with loyal...
BD products have a feature called “U service.” It allows you to easily switch out the polycarbonate lens on your light. I recommend buying a quality Allen wrench that isn’t rounded off. The screws are some what soft and and I have come close to stripping a few. Screws can be easily replaced if...
