You mean has someone wired up the light bars to go on with their highs? Yes a lot of folks. If you get the LVJ Motorsports Gen2 Relay kit w/high beam trigger you can do it. You can also easily pick which lights turn on with the highs (no need to run additional wires, once it's wired into the relay you just flip flip a switch basically to pick which ones come on with highs)

New here, so sorry if this has been asked. Looking at doing either Rigid or Baja 6-light kit, mostly for General/Street Use. I also wanted to do the upper and lower grill lights. Is there a good recommendation/suggestion for which combination to purchase for this?

Something maybe like the Rigid 41610 Kit?

Also, do any of these impact airflow and/or the adaptive cruise control modules, etc.?

For fogs that you plan to use for general/street use i'd recommend the following:
https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-baja-designs-lights-sportsmen/

It's the Sportsmen kit. You get a lot for your money and lights that will give you just enough for those dark roads while not breaking the bank or going nuts.

One other option would be the Build Your Own Kit here: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-f...ght-kit-w-baja-designs-lights-build-your-kit/

And go with:

Squadron SAE Wide Cornering
Squadorn SAE Wide Cornering Amber
Squadron Sport Driving/Combo

That'll give you white and amber lights for road use and then the driving/combos can be used to light up back-roads (you can also upgrade to the Squadron Pros for a bit more light)

Upper Grill kit would be here: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-ford-raptor-2017-30-s8-grille-led-light-bar-kit/

Lower Grill kit is here: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-ford-raptor-2017-onx6-lower-grille-led-kit/

Now all of those products I listed are 100% bolt on and include EVERYTHING You need to get going. From the brackets and lights to harnesses and hardware.

As for impacting airflow and ACC, no impact at all. The only impact would be the lower 10" grill kit WILL sit in front of your factory IC but nobody has ever complained about issues. If you are in a very hot environment and drive your truck hard you MIGHT want to skip on the lower 10" kit. Otherwise if you're doing regular driving and not racing around ALL THE TIME in hot environments, you're good to go, no worries at all.

The ACC module is behind that black plastic cover on your driver side. Nothing gets in the way of it at all.

Very cool! Thank you! I've noticed that most of the Baja Design Kits have (4) Modules that are 2x2 and (2) modules that are 1x2. Rigid kits are (6) 2x2.

What is the effective difference here?

I actually responded to that question in the Baja thread, but here it is again:

The 3 Baja kits include 1 pair of S2 (which are a 2 lens light) and 2 pairs of Squadrons (which are the 4 lens lights). That's just how Baja's done it because the brackets Baja includes, only hold 1 S2 and 2 Squadrons.

However with our CrystaLux Triple Fog Light Kits, we make our own brackets right here on Long Island. Our brackets offer the most adjustments out of any bracket and we've designed them to hold 3 pairs of Squadrons (or Rigid D-Series/Radiance, etc...)

SPORTSMEN:

  • Squadron Sport, Spot (Pair)

Our Build Your Own Kits (https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-f...ght-kit-w-baja-designs-lights-build-your-kit/) let you pick which lights you want however. A lot of folks like the 3 pre-selected kits BUT you can also pick/choose which lights to go with.

Here is what my truck currently has using our new CrystaLux brackets:

So as you can see our brackets let you fit 3 Squadron lights OR 1 S2 and 2 Squadron as shown here:

Or you can do 3 pairs of Rigid:

Ah! Okay, I think I get it ... it's just about what's included in the bundle. Which did you select for your kit? I like the look of an amber, but I think I would want it towards the outside vs the inside. Just aesthetics or is there a benefit to position?

I currently run the Build Your Own Kit with:

Squadron SAE WC
Squadron SAE WC Amber
Squadron Pro Driving/Combo

This way, depending on the weather, i can pick which lights I have on.

It's all aesthetics with our brackets, since all of the lights clear the bumper it won't matter which order. I have my ambers on the inside since my outer SAE are the ones always on.

Ah, so basically what you recommended for me. Looks like the right solution bundled with the high and low grill lights.

I am not a vendor but I will give you my impression. I like BD lights. Here is a photo of my 20” ONX+ light bar:

Buuuut, I have also ran Rigid lights. I like Both. Over all, I would do Baja Designs. I like the “Uservice” feature, color temp and output. Plus, they are a great brand with loyal following. They would be absolute diamonds on your raptor.

Having said that. The BD SAE series is a bit odd. That is the only light from BD I would choose Rigid’s SAE over. Heck, I would even take Diode Dynamics SAE over BD’s SAE.

So, in the fogs, me personally based on my experience: three squadron pro’s in all wide cornering. XL series in all spot on hood mounts and either S1’s, or S2’s as reverse lights. I believe in the concept of flood/ driving below the headlights and spot above. My 0.02. A vendor on here will get you dialed in at a great price.
