Weird thing about yours is you phasers were done. Mine has not made the noise since the phasers were replaced.

Thats interesting because just about everyone I know with this motor had shutter after the reprogram and had to go back. My buddy at Ford Performance said don't even bother with it if you get the new hardware. Also what is considered low?

Yes thats all the cam phaser customer sat programs should be complete including new hardware

So, it was reprogrammed(21B10), the cam phasers done(21N03), then must have had shutter and put back to original programming. (21N08). I dont think ive seen a truck actually stay on the 21B10 software out of all my friends that have these trucks. Sample size about 10.

I believe this, I did my brakes all around at 65k and had halfish left with prob 60 percent highway and 40 city and a few offroad events each year. Already had the parts so did them anyway.

I have a buddy that just did a coolant flush and is having the issue. Seems strange I know since the thermostat was not pulled out but low and behold! Yea what Ford Tech One said, I had same issue. Thermostat solved it

I think the dealer has a way to run a test, may be a way to run it in forscan as well. I think the shutter and fan system is rarely the issue.

If you could have someone look in person you could tell if it was truly a low mileage truck, basic wear items, underbody etc could be looked at. You couldnt tell a few k mileage difference based on that but you could a much larger discrepancy
