I've still got this issue, with the added, perhaps related?, issue that now the rear defrost does not turn on..... Any suggestions on how to proceed? I think my next step is to take this to the dealer.....
So as an interim follow up- its been about a week since I've had this problem. The only thing that has changed, as far as I can tell, is that I have been trying unsuccessfully to get the diagnostics mode to run by pushing the 3 and 6 buttons. Is anyone with NavTV able to get diagnostics to work?
I can't even get to diagnostics! I just hold down 3 and 6 and the only thing I can get it to do is say "preset set". Do you have to have the key in a particular position? I have tried every combination I can think of.....
Well that is very interesting- it turns out mine is a little more complicated as well and I had a very similar experience with my install.

I was terrified I bricked the whole system. I don't know the details but the long and the...
Ughh. Did you replace the NavTV with another product? I could live with not running the Nav while in motion but the inability to run the front cam when parking is very annoying. Why they didn't allow it to be used at under 5 MPH in regular drive or reverse makes no sense.
For the last six months the Nav System has been displayed a little "GPS" with a red cross through it and been unable to locate itself. When it began it happened every 4-5 starts, but it is now happening almost every time. Just a tad annoying.
The solution has typically been to turn off the...
Thanks TheJoker- A couple of things I read indicated they also use "Corrosion Free," and they confirmed as much (and that their website needs updating) when I called them- they use both products, but Corrosion Free is an extra $20. I am headed up there on Thursday night and will report back on...
Thanks- Apparently they are reapplied annually, are in the case of this product at least every 18 months. The canadians apparently use them

I have a 2014 Raptor delivered over the summer. I live in New England and all my vehicles, and nearly all vehicles on the roads here, have problems with rust from winter salting of the roads.
When I last looked at undercoating 20 years ago it was clear to me that it was a dealer rip-off and...
My best advice is you have to see it in person. Pics just don't do any of it justice. At my wife's insistence I've got a silver with no graphics and a tonneau cover and I get a ton of compliments in prius driving MA. I wanted it to look tough but not overstated, and I think that combo delivers...
Just to close this thread down, I took the truck to a place recommended by the guys who did the great install, reinstall, and final diagnosing ( Nav-tv problem - FORD RAPTOR FORUM - Ford SVT Raptor Forums - Ford Raptor, thank you also Noah) of the NAV-TV unit (Soreal sounds) and was very...
Thanks- I think I get it. So the following is normal? I double tap the front defrost so that the passenger can get to the "locked" navigation features, then they enter the info, I go back to the map and it will show that I am still physically where I was when I first hit the front defrost even...
Thanks Noah. A question for you or anyone- is the navigation system supposed to be completely unlocked so that the the passenger can enter addresses, or just certain portions of it? I don't think I can enter a street address. Do I need to double tap Front Defrost to run the nav in motion? That...
That makes sense to me. I am no expert but I would be very surprised if these guys did the install wrong. They are closed today and Monday and my truck is in their shop. Does it make sense to just ship another unit tomorrow so it gets here Wed? In the even it turns out the first unit was good...
Noah thank you very much, I really appreciate the follow up. I hope we can get it worked out too.

Yes that is them. Very pleased with the work they did; I will be back. Long story short: a look at the...
Scout- I was going to make a smart comment about how much it would cost to drive from MA to CA, but I see you are TX so I don't have much of a leg to stand on.....:)
Thank you all for the responses and Noah I will call you. Thank you.
With respect to the question about why they are highly respected, I should have been clearer that they have done nav tv but not a nav tv unit on a 2014 raptor. They came recomended by a super high end detailing co which I...
Fridays are not my lucky day with this new 2014 raptor. I'm having a nav-tv unit put in at a highly respected shop. They've never done one before but they thoroughly went through the instructions and were confident we would not have a problem.
sync is going crazy. Nav is not working...
Thank you all for the responses. I took it to a well respected body shop and, after a surprisingly low amount of analysis, they concluded there was no issue. Also took it to the dealer and after a bit more looking they concluded the same. I'm taking it to my local shop on Monday- the owner used...
